Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!

There’s usually a time in a woman’s life where she wants to be Cinderella for a day. Whether it’s when she’s a child, attending her high school prom or her wedding day. Feeling like a princess is a confident, beautiful experience — and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN has teamed up with Walt Disney Studios to take you one step closer to your fairytale moment.

In honor of Disney’s global release of the classic masterpiece “Cinderella” Diamond Edition on Blue-ray this Fall, the world-renowned shoe designer has created the ultimate, modern-day Cinderella inspired slipper! “Cinderella is not only an iconic character when it comes to beauty, grace and fairytale love, but also shoes,” explains Mr. Louboutin.

To capture the essence of the beloved glass slipper, Mr. Louboutin re-imagined the mastery to design a light, tulle transparent and glittering pump. The magic touches were added to this special Loubie heel in the form of delicate lace adorned with crystals; two sparkling butterflies that rest on the vamp and the crystal covered heel as it gently brushes the ankle.

Louboutin’s signature red sole puts the finishing touch on the enchanting slipper.

Mr. Louboutin truly believes in the magic of his design and its power to make anyone wearing it feel like a princess, “The slipper is the magic wand of transformation, which conjures confidence, beauty and love.”

Word has it that a few lucky, modern day Cinderella’s will have a chance to win one of the twenty original slippers created for this Disney-meets-Louboutin collaboration. Stay tuned for details!

The unveiling of the shoe debuted during Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week this month.
