Emily Blunt in Christian Dior | Comic-Con 2012: “Looper” Press Line

Emily Blunt added a splash of color to her pale dress when she attended the “Looper” press conference panel, held at Comic-Con International 2012 on Friday afternoon. The 29-year-old English actress was joined by director Rian Johnson and her costar Joseph Gordon-Levitt to talk about their upcoming futuristic mob film.

Emily kept her look simple, light and perfect for summer by pairing a nude knit Christian Dior a-line dress with a pair of bright orange Sergio Rossi sandals.

I appreciate that she added a pop of color — especially because I’m drooling over those sandals, but I don’t feel like the colors of both her dress and footwear complimented each other as much as she probably would have liked them to.

Maybe if the dress were white.

All in all — it was a great fit and looked nice on her. It just further proves to me that if Emily could show up at the San Diego Convention Center wearing this airy style — why did Kate Beckinsale prepare herself for fall weather?

This look was complete with a gold pendant necklace, matching hoop earrings and stacked rings all by Anna Beck.
