Karen Gillan in 3.1 Phillip Lim | Comic-Con 2012: “Dr. Who” Press Line

Karen Gillan knew exactly what to wear to the press panel for “Dr. Who” at Comic-Con this year. A comic-inspired top!

The 24-year-old Scottish actress arrived at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel Convention Center yesterday in a long-sleeve lightweight knit sweater from the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pre-Fall 2012 collection, which boldly featured a “Ka-Pow” pop art graphic on the front with contrast sleeves.

I’m totally obsessed with this sweater! I mean Comic-Con or not, this would be a great addition to anyone’s wardrobe. It’s eye-catching and totally cute.

Karen paired the top with a tiny black bodycon skirt. Love it? I do.

I’m having mixed feelings when it comes to her shoes. While the chunky black suede platforms were interesting and matched the outfit, the first impression of them paired with this outfit isn’t a good one. Did she need peep toe booties? Yes, she did.

She finished off the look with light make-up and natural wavy auburn tresses.
