Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta | Valspar Hands For Habitat Unveiling

Before showing off her sexier side at the Teen Choice Awards over the weekend, Lea Michele spent her Friday afternoon in New York City as she hosted the “Valspar Hands For Habitat Unveiling” at the Hearst Tower.

The 25-year-old “Glee” star looked sweet in a pacific silk organza embroidered dress from the Resort 2013 collection by Oscar de la Renta, but left the metallic skinny belt seen on the runway out of her look.

While I like the dress better without the belt for Lea, I still wish she had opted for metallic sandals. The black pumps are way too dark and heavy for the look. Considering the event, even a pair of nude pumps would have been preferrable — although a bright contrasting show would have been fun as well.

Lea finished off this look with very minimal jewelry and super shiny straight locks.
