Miranda Cosgrove in Collette Dinnigan | 2012 Teen Choice Awards

Miranda Cosgrove was one of the few stars that went for a metallic dress last night at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, which is kind of a first with this type of a young Hollywood red (err, pink) carpet event.

For the big night, the 19-year-old actress selected a gunmetal stirling stone hand-embellished sequin and beaded dress from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Collette Dinnigan. This design is an off-runway look, however, a similar dress was seen on the catwalk during the presentation.

Miranda, who took home the award for Choice TV Comedy Actress, styled her hair in long loose wavys, but left her make-up and accessories pretty minimal, yet complimentary. She carried a black “Gemini” minaudière by Judith Lieber and finished off with Stephen Webster jewelry and a pair of silver studded black satin Stella McCartney platform pumps.
