Jaime King in Marchesa | 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree

Jaime King stepped out on the grass turf carpet for the annual InStyle summer soirèe, which was hosted by Ariel Foxman and the west coast editors last night at The London Hotel in West Hollywood.

The “Hart of Dixie” actress rocked a fancy red lace single shoulder cocktail dress from the Resort 2013 collection by Marchesa. The flirty tea-length design features a red leather bow belt that sits high on the waist and separates the embroidered bodice from a double layer asymmetric mini peplum.

This collection has gotten some mixed reactions after Diane Kruger wore that feathered gown on the red carpet recently, but I think this look is beautiful and very fitting for Jaime.

She wore her short blonde hair tightly back in a tucked ponytail to show off her diamond stud earrings. Jaime finished off her look with a gold and red beaded minaudière from the Marchesa collection and a pair of nude Jimmy Choo platform strappy sandals. I would have liked to have seen a gold sandal to match the detailing in her bag.
