Jordin Sparks in Alice + Olivia | “Sparkle” NYC Screening

Jordin Sparks makes me feel incredibly lazy when it comes to going to the gym. Seriously, this girl is kicking the butt of fitness because every time I see a new photo of her — she looks even better than before.

This was totally the case on Tuesday night when the 22-year-old singer-turned-actress arrived at the Tribeca Grand Hotel for the New York City screening of her movie “Sparkle”. Which, by the way, I can’t wait to see. I’m not usually one for remakes, but this one looks too good!

Jordin was red hot, literally, from head-to-toe. She flaunted her curves in a Pre-Fall 2012 cap-sleeve poppy red “Victoria” peplum mini dress by Alice + Olivia, who also sponsored the event. The color was perfect; the clean cut and solid design didn’t overwhelm Jordin when it came to her voluminous mane of chocolate curls, which are dip-dyed at the ends in dark red. In fact, her hair and the dress blended really nicely.

Normally I’d find a solid red dress with overtly matching pumps as a little too much, but it just goes to show that when it’s done the right way, or worn by the right person, it can be done.

Jordin finished off her look nicely with shiny red leather pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti with a metallic gold heel. These shoes come from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection.
