Jordin Sparks in Custom Chagoury Couture | “Sparkle” LA Premiere

Jordin Sparks glittered her way down the crimson red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of her first movie “Sparkle”, in which she stars as the talented title character.

The 22-year-old beauty arrived at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre wearing a truly sparkling Chagoury Couture gown, which was custom-made for her. The gown was created for Jordin after she became inspired by a dress seen in the fashion label’s “White Collection” (pictured above).

To fit the occasion and Jordin’s style, head-designer Gilbert A. Chagoury reworked the strapless mermaid dress by adding a cascade of over 600 Swarovski crystals and a four foot train. How stunning is the crystal boarding along the bust?

Chagoury Couture was the obvious choice for Jordin’s premiere look. She wears a glorious beaded red gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection for a major scene in the movie!

Jordin piled on the glitz with a beaded minaudière from Judith Leiber and jewelry designed by her beau Jason Derulo. She’s also wearing sandals by Jimmy Choo. As for her make-up, Jordin kept her pout glossy but nude, emphasized her eyes and rocked a beige manicure.

I think she looked incredible! I mostly loved everything about the look as I wasn’t thrilled with the hairstyle…at least part of it. It looked fantastic from the front, but after seeing the side view, I can’t get passed those straying wisps of her red tipped ends sticking out of the back. Thankfully, that didn’t ruin the look.

Was this just the right amount of ‘sparkle’ for Jordin?
