Jordin Sparks “sparkles” on the silver screen in Chagoury Couture!

Jordin Sparks makes her movie debut in the Salim Akil-directed musical “SPARKLE”; s remake of the 1976 hit that starred Irene Cara. In this updated version, Jordin takes on the title role and acts alongside the talented late Whitney Houston.

The movie opens in theaters tonight, but before you head to the theatre — let me show you something fashionably fierce that you can look forward to during your cinematic thrill-ride.

For a show-stopping performance during the movie, Jordin’s character hits the stage wearing a shimmering (or ‘sparkling’) ruby red Swarovski bead-embellished chiffon fishtail gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Chagoury Couture. The plunging v-neck creation features the beading in a beautiful leaf pattern.

Sparkle piles on the jewels with diamond bracelets and matching bold earrings, which you can clearly see, thanks to her half-gathered voluminous ‘do of tumbling curls.
