Kate Beckinsale in Donna Karan | “Total Recall” London Premiere

Kate Beckinsale shut. it. down. last night when she stepped out on the white carpet for the London premiere of “Total Recall” working a black crepe-and-sequin corset combo gown, which featured a ultra-glam oversize bow at the waist.

I had always envisioned the English actress in a dress from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Donna Karan (remember my MTV Movie Awards wish list?), but to actually see her working one of Karan’s dresses is such a beautiful reality.

Normally a massive bow would seem like an over-the-top element, but Kate takes that “costume” feel, threw it on the ground and strut all over it. Though she would have looked just as good without the bow, the embellishment added a whimsical touch.

With a lustrous mane of cascading waves surrounding her Rona Pfeiffer black spinel earrings, Kate finished off her look with smoky eyes, a glossy nude pout, a black-and-silver metallic tube clutch from Jimmy Choo and the popular black satin, double platform Salvatore Ferragamo pumps.

She was elegant. She dazzled.
