Tom Sturridge in Prada | “On The Road” London Premiere

To celebrate the UK release of “On The Road”, Tom Sturridge stepped out on the red carpet tonight at the Somerset House in London for the special screening of his movie. He was joined by costars Sam Riley and Danny Morgan, but the fellas were missing Garrett Hedlund and their leading ladies Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst this time around.

This is the second time Tom has attended a premiere for the Walter Salles-directed film, adapted from the 1957 Jack Kerouac novel, but it’s the first time since becoming a new father. He and his girlfriend Sienna Miller welcomed a daughter named Marlowe last month.

The 26-year-old English actor opted for a classic dark navy ink suit by Prada for the evening. Beneath the two-button notched lapel jacket he wore a crisp white dress shirt and finished off with a skinny black tie.

Because Tom isn’t afraid to take a bit of a risk at a public engagement (remember his electric blue suit and those leather lapels at the Cannes Film Festival?) he covered up his dark hair with a slouchy black beanie.

Normally a big “WTF?” would come to mind seeing that accessory for a red carpet premiere, but I find something completely endearing about it on him. If he still sporting that top knot hair ‘do he had back in May — it’s also appreciated.

Tom completed this look with brown lace up oxfords.
