The 22-year-old actress selected this black, pink and green abstract printed strapless tea-length gown from the Fall/Winter 2012 haute-couture collection, designed by Raf Simons — the new Creative Director of the beloved fashion house. She must have fallen in love with it when she attended the fashion show for the collection back in July during Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week.
David O. Russell, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper pose together on the TIFF 2012 red carpet.I’m much more a fan of her lighter curly locks, but with her new darker ‘do — for her role as Katniss Everdeen in “Catching Fire”, I really like that her hairstylist created a pin-straight and sleek look to go with her refined appearance. I think an up ‘do would have aged her while curls would have been too overwhelming.
Jennifer finished off with a silver “Rubedo” cuff from Tiffany & Co., black pointed toe pumps (from the same Dior couture collection as her gown) and a trendy dark red pout.
What did you think of Jennifer’s head-to-toe couture look?

No. She’s been wearing Dior quite a bit recently and I think the dress is lovely, but it doesn’t suit her for me. I don’t think she has a firm sense of style yet, but I hope this isn’t the direction she chooses to go in.
As for the hair, I actually don’t mind it brown, but do wish it had more volume. Pin straight can be a bit hard to pull off sometimes.
A fierce dress, but maybe not “her” dress. A little bit of movement in the hair never hurts, I can agree with that.
don’t really like the dress.. but definitely like how her hair was styled!
