Julie Bowen in Monique Lhuillier | 2012 Emmy Awards

Julie Bowen didn’t just win an Emmy tonight for her role on “Modern Family”, she shined on the red carpet too.
The 42-year-old actress arrived at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Hollywood for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards wearing a bold (and bright) neon chartreuse strapless mermaid gown by Monique Lhuillier.

I was so excited to see Julie in this dress as it was one of my favorites from Lhuillier’s Resort 2013 collection. Actually, it was a top choice that almost made my Emmys Wish List. The intense color is vivacious and hard to pull off, but I think Julie succeeded.

She wore her long blonde hair in textured waves that were pinned in the back with a little bit of volume at the front. Julie finished off her look with a Swarovski evening bag, Bochic Fine Jewelry earrings, a pair of Jimmy Choo heels and dramatic smoky eyes.
