Marion Cotillard’s Hairstylist Tells You How to Get Her 1940s Twisted TIFF ‘Do!
Photo: ZimbioThe beautiful French actress brought her best couture A-game when she arrived wearing a head-to-toe Christian Dior from the Fall/Winter 2012 haute-couture collection, designed by new Creative Director Raf Simons, that included a sleek strapless dress and bold color-block satin heels.
Pulling inspiration from her look, Marion’s hairstylist Ted Gibson had a plan in place.
“I love working with Marion, she always challenges me to style of her hair differently. She wore couture Dior straight off the runway and I thought immediately that we should do a 40s look and she agreed!,” Ted explained.
“I used build it blow drying spray with Hair Sheet Styling to add texture to her hair. Blow dry with a large round brush to create volume and movement. I then pulled her hair over to the right top side of her head. Secure the hair with elastic, then twist the hair into itself and pin. Finish with Beautiful Hold Hairspray.
Gibson Girl gorgeous!”
