Nina Dobrev in Monique Lhuillier | Variety Studio at Holt Renfrew – Day 2

It made me so excited to see photos of Nina Dobrev at the Variety Studio doing an interview for “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” during the Toronto Film Festival yesterday, and if you saw my Teen Choice Awards wish list in July — you’d understand why.

The 23-year-old actress wore the incredible Resort 2013 sleeveless white top and trouser shorts by Monique Lhuillier — which are completely splattered with purple, pink and orange abstract patterns — that I wanted her to rock at the TCAs. There was a reason I wanted to see Nina in this look; I imagined she’d be perfect for it due to her long lean figure, tan complexion, spunky attitude and willingness to try different looks. We all know she loves to play with color.

It turns out that Nina looked even better in it than I thought she would!

The Resort 2013 pieces were a fabulous fit, her light make-up was perfect for daytime press and her long dark glossy hair was playfully styled in a high bouncy ponytail. Well, before she took it down to fall in loose waves.

Nina accessorized with an edgy rose gold plated metallic Bare Bones 1kt “St and Ard” square cuff bracelet and a killer pair of orange-and-nude Manolo Blahnik for Monique Lhuillier ankle strap point toe pumps. These were the same heels paired with her look for Lhuillier’s presentation.

She also carried a bright purple lizard embossed “Vincent” minaudière by Rebecca Minkoff.

This girl was hooked up and ready to go — and I loved it from head-to-toe!
