Selena Gomez in Atelier Versace | “Spring Breakers” Premiere – 2012 Venice International Film Festival

Selena Gomez stunned on-lookers when she hit the red carpet tonight at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy for the 69th Venice International Film Festival premiere of her new movie “Spring Breakers” wearing a Atelier Versace gown.

Dressed in a twisted sweetheart-neck strapless pale pink metallic gown from the Fall 2011 couture collection, Selena glided along the carpet in the leather stencil-and-grommet pattern design as she showed off the striking voluminous draped element at her hip, which cascaded down her skirt into a full train.

It was a gown to take notice of, that’s for sure — and Selena looked amazing in it.

She wore her long dark hair slightly curled and gathered to one side to show off her diamond rose gold earrings that matched her diamond leaf cuff bracelet. Selena then finished off her look with a crystal embellished Judith Leiber minaudière and a pair of champagne gold Swarovski Crystal satin “Song” platform sandals by Sergio Rossi.

Nothing about this look was over-done. The dress stood out, but everything else was simply complimenting. From her jewelry and shoes to her hair and shimmering make-up. After a very polished photocall ensemble this morning, I was pleased to see that she only went up from there.

For Selena’s first major Venice Film Festival red carpet appearance, I’d say she nailed it!
