Jessica Szohr in Timo Weiland | 2nd Annual Pencils Of Promise Gala

Jessica Szohr hit the red carpet on Thursday night to celebrate the second annual Pencils Of Promise Gala; an evening of supporting the efforts of the organization, which are dedicated to providing quality global education for children.

The former “Gossip Girl” actress wore a striking combo gown by Timo Weiland, from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection. Jessica was on trend in her oxblood dress, which featured a leather cutout bodice and a full length velvet maxi skirt. I feel as though the skirt should be two inches shorter as it’s just pooling on the carpet and looks kind of heavy — but other than that, I can’t think of a single thing wrong. I really dig this dress.

Jessica wore her hair in an asymmetric gathered up-do before finishing off with diamond jewelry.
