Rob hit the red carpet wearing a sophisticated mahogany red tailored Burberry London slim fit “Glen” check wool suit; a two-button notch lapel closely fitted jacket with matching narrow tapered flat-front trousers that he paired with a heathered grey dress shirt and a skinny charcoal tie. There wasn’t anything actually ground-breaking about the suit itself compared to what he did earlier in the week—but this rich color is outstanding; it suited him—and it just reiterated the fact that he should wear designs from the British fashion house much more.
Personally, the only thing I’m not digging is the fact that he wore the wrong tie and shirt with it. If Rob had selected a three-piece or something with a little color—like the caramel and maroon seen on the model–it would have brought out the color dimension in the check pattern.
He finished his look with a smooth pair of black calf skin leather dress shoes.
I’m looking forward to seeing what Rob wears next; he has two more premieres this week with costars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. I think he’s just toying around a little bit with ‘classic’ moments to blindside us with a yellow or vivid purple suit next.
I’d say I’m kidding around, but with Rob—you just never know.
