MY VERDICT: For her first time attending Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, Kristen worked it like a pro when she stepped out for the second Chanel Fall/Winter 2013 show, held today at Grand Palais, in one fierce black-and-white ensemble.
The 23-year-old actress rocked what I’ve been hoping to see her in for way too long–a short suit! It finally happened. Kristen was fashion forward in a menswear-inspired white double-breasted short sleeve tweed blazer and black cotton shorts from the Cruise 2014 collection, which she ‘punked up’ with an assortment of dope chain bracelets and fingerless leather gloves.
Your eyes are not paying tricks on you–she accessorized, and more than that: homegirl. was. hooked. up. Kristen carried a small leather chain-strap bag, wore a Chanel “Première” steel chain bracelet watch, and topped it off with black Jean-Michel Cazabat pointed-toe cutout “Evangelina” ankle wrap pumps that are giving me the heaviest case of #ShoeEnvy.
Aside from the fact that I nearly want this entire outfit for myself (and I bet you do too), it was nice to see Kristen in something that I feel reflects her personality so intensely. If this is a sign of her style evolving–bring it on. She completed her look with a tucked in/slicked back low ponytail adorned with pave bow appliqués, dramatic metallic smoky eyes, and a matte nude pout.
Overall, this outfit would have been ideal for the MET Gala. Better late than never.
FYI: Kristen is wearing a custom-made black rhodium spiked “Anarchy” bracelet and a small first knuckle rose gold “Baby Crown” ring designed by Jillian Dempsey, one of her go-to makeup artists. She’s been previously spotted with a structured ring by Jillian.
Edgy and yet quite feminine – I thought her entire outfit was pitch perfect. Best part? Kristen obviously loved the ensemble and wore it confidently and comfortably. Loved it all and hope to see her more!

I absolutely love this outfit. Her style is getting better and better. And you are not alone in wishing she had done something like this for the Met gala. This is a perfect mix of punk and couture. Where were those gloves and chains when she needed them?
