WHO: Rihanna
WHERE & WHEN: Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week: CHANEL – Fall/Winter 2013-2014 Presentation on July 2, 2013.
WEARING: Head-to-toe CHANEL.

MY VERDICT: Rihanna made a grand arrival at the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2013 Haute Couture fashion show this morning during Paris Fashion Week in a full length cardigan–and that’s practically it! I mean, come on, don’t tell me you expected her to show up in anything conservative? The “Stay” singer is all about keeping it daring–even if she has to create her signature racy look with some of the most ladylike elements. She gets people talking.

The 25-year-old went ‘cruisin’ in a Resort 2014 ecru lightweight cardigan dress that featured a thigh-high slit and a plunging v-neckline that showed off her chest tattoo. She filled the opening in with layers of beautiful pearl necklaces from the line.

Quite frankly, it looked like Riri was wearing a robe; I seriously hope she was able to avoid wind of any strength.

I like the way her ginger layered and tousled tresses popped and created almost a golden glow with her sun-kissed makeup. Rihanna finished off with a cream-colored quilted train travel case handbag with an edgy chain strap along with a pair of khaki canvas pumps with a black cap toe. This was cheeky, a little bit retro, and it pushed the envelope–but, hey, it’s Rihanna.
