Review: OPI Mariah Carey Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionSKI SLOPE SWEETIE
Ski Slope Sweetie – This is a really pretty and subtle pearly gold. I wore it on its own with three coats, but I think it’s thin enough that you could layer it. My mind is already reeling with the snow bunny nail art possibilities with this one!

Review: OPI Mariah Carey Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionMY FAVORITE ORNAMENT
My Favorite Ornament – This is kind of the perfect gold glitter for the holidays, and really does look like some of my favorite ornaments. I used two coats, but the formula is thick but smooth enough that you could probably get away with one coat.

Review: OPI Mariah Carey Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionWONDEROUS STAR
Wonderous Star – I wanted to love this, I really did–but, I sadly think I loved it more in the bottle. I decided to try it on its own and used about 3 coats for full coverage. The formula was thin enough that three coats wasn’t so bad. However with each coat the gold flecks just seemed to cover more of the black glitter, and that bummed me out. I think I might try layering it over another color.

Review: OPI Mariah Carey Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionUNDERNEATH THE MISTLETOE
Underneath the Mistletoe – It’s a nice red jelly loaded with pink, red and silver glitter. I used two coats, but then waited quite a bit between layers as to not take the layer I was going over off with the brush. That always frustrates me. Friendly warning: This one stained a bit more than the other reds with removal.

Review: OPI Mariah Carey Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionALL SPARKLY AND GOLD
All Sparkly and Gold – Love it! It seems like a darker version of My Favorite Ornament, and you really can’t go wrong with gold.

Review: OPI Mariah Carey Holiday/Winter 2013 CollectionI SNOW YOU LOVE ME
I Snow You Love Me – While I love that it’s holo circle glitter, this is not one to just polish on…don’t even try. I left the bottle upside down for a few minutes as all the glitter basically sinks to the bottom (like a snow globe), to at least attempt to use it as a regular glitter and all I got was a very thick clear coat of polish. My next step was to just dab a bit onto some wax paper and physically placed each circle where I wanted it.

VERDICT: I love red polish so I won’t ever complain about too many, but if you wanted a strong variety of different colors there wasn’t a whole lot to be found here. In fact, I’m a bit bummed that there isn’t a single green glitter, but for the most part these are pretty good mix for the holiday season. My favorite glitters would have to be either “My Favorite Ornament” o” All Sparkly and Gold”. I don’t think you need both as they are so similar, but one is a must for sure.
