WHO: Elena Lyadova
WHERE & WHEN: “Leviathan” Premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival on May 23, 2014.
WEARING: Versace dress, Stuart Weitzman shoes
MY VERDICT: After donning a structured two-piece black ensemble for the photocall this afternoon, Elena showed off her legs on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Leviathan” tonight. The Russian actress turned to Versace for her dress.
Elena wore a slinky little lilac stretch tulle dress from the Spring/Summer 2014 Ready-to-Wear collection (available online at LuisaViaRoma.com, $5,570) with metal hook grosgrian piping down the sides of the skirt and a crisscrossed cutout bodice, which features a detachable layered metal chain necklace and double Medusa pendants.
The dress is fun, but I wish it had been made floor length to fit the formal setting of the evening.
This felt better suited for an intimate cocktail soirèe. Loose tresses, a rosy lip color, and metallic Stuart Weitzman “Sincity” sandals completed her look. I like the shoe, but not this dress; I think it’s the t-strap.
