MY VERDICT: After suiting up in black twice on the red carpet this week to support the premieres of his movies at the Cannes Film Festival, Robert lightened up in blue for an interview on “Le Grand Journal” today as he joined his co-star Guy Pearce (wearing Dolce & Gabbana) to promote “The Rover”.
The 28-year-old actor looked comfortable for his last promo stop in Cannes, France wearing a Gucci blue peak lapel two button Monaco suit with a light blue untucked dress shirt.
Rob cuffed the pant ankles, which isn’t an uncommon relaxed look for men; while I wish he had a nice pair of laceups to compliment, Rob opted for his adidas Originals black “Nizza” lo canvas sneakers. In the end, it didn’t matter as he sat behind a table anyway.
He polished off his look with a pair of Oliver Peoples tortoise “O’Malley” sunglasses.
Robert will continue to promote “The Rover” next month at the Sydney Film Festival. We may be embarking on summer, but I sure do hope he makes sure to pack a raisin-colored suit–after all, it’s almost winter in Australia.
