MY VERDICT: Dakota stopped by “The Tonight Show” to chat with Jimmy Fallon about her new movie, “Fifty Shades Darker” – the second installment in the Fifty Shades franchise. The 27-year-old actress got dolled up in a bold Gucci Pre-Fall 2017 red long sleeve chiffon dress with a tiered plissé skirt and a black velvet belt with a crystal bow.
It’s not typical to see stars wear a dress that borders on a gown for a talk show appearance; part of me likes that Dakota tried something different and another part wonders if it was too much. That being said, she looked very nice and it was smart to downplay the rest of her look with light makeup, and loose soft waves in her hair. Strappy black platform sandals provided the finishing touch.
