12 Cremes and Shimmers from the collection, make sure you backtrack to check those out before heading over to Part III: Rollin' In Cashmere Trio.
Unfrost My Heart Trio: Review and the Rollin' In Cashmere Trio: Review). At first glance, despite the hearts I had in my eyes, I didn't fail to notice that there was only one green in the collection and zero blue. I was a bit torn on how I felt about that, but it didn't diminish my excitement to test out of the collection, which I was able to do when OPI sent the shades my way. I hope you enjoy my review.
we were taken on a cool trip to San Francisco but, this time around, the iconic nail polish brand wants you to 'set your sights on the Northern Lights' with the OPI Nordic Fall/Winter 2015 Collection. Inspired by the countries of Northern Europe, this 12 polish line features 2 shimmery shades, 9 cremes and 1 glittery stand-out. I really enjoyed playing with this collection because a lot of the colors were quite obviously suited for the autumnal months whereas a few of them were traditional summer favorites that were muted for a nice transition through seasons. Read on to find out my verdict on each one...
For her first red carpet appearance in a year, all eyes were on Kristen Stewart as she arrived for the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala for more than just the fact that she's one of the hottest young actresses around. The 24-year-old was boldly showing off a brand new vivid red hair color for her latest movie, "American Ultra", and she was dressed in a dazzling feathered creation straight from the Chanel Spring 2014 Haute Couture runway. If you could tear your eyes from every glittering feathered sway of her dress, you were immediately brought back to her electric hair that was twisted into an funky little 'do created by Kristen's mane man Adir Abergel. Kristen's eyes were given a dramatic smoky touch courtesy of her go-to makeup artist Jillian Dempsey while CHANEL Celebrity manicurist Gina Viviano topped the look off with an almost-black mani. The Fashion Court has the scoop on how to recreate a desired part of Kristen's look or, you know---from tip-2-toe!
Anne Hathaway was amongst the star-studded guest list at this year's glamorous Met Gala, which honored the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" exhibit with a New York City white tie affair. The brunette beauty emerged onto the scarlet carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a belly-baring Calvin Klein Collection bustier dress to match. Anne may have been 'seeing red' with her outfit, but CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Kate Lee opted for pink tones when it came to her bold and shiny pout. "It's an amped up version of bitten lips, paired with coppery eyes," Kate explained the inspiration behind the look. "Anne was wearing a dramatic red column dress, and I wanted to do the opposite of what people would expect. So, instead of putting a red lip with a red dress, we went for this cool pink balanced with a warm shade of eye shadow."
Chloë Grace Moretz donned a very playful head-to-toe Chanel look when she attended the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York City, which honored the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" exhibit this year with a fancy white tie affair. The 17-year-old "Clouds of Sils Maria" actress wore a white embroidered top and matching skirt while her half-pinned long blonde locks draped over her shoulders. As for her makeup, Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh balanced a smoky eye with a pink pout, which complimented the colors of the embellished details in Chloë's outfit. "This is a soft take on a smoky eye that's feminine, with just enough intensity," Mai explained. "We wanted everything to be soft and beautiful. Chloë's dress was pale with tones of ivory, so we thought doing a smoky eye would be a fun contrast, and play off the very feminine look of the dress."
Brazil Summer 2014 Collection, which allowed for them to stand out a bit better. In the wise words of Ke$ha: '...go insane. Throw some glitter, make it rain!'.
