It's not surprising that Emma Stone was instantly compared to Queen Elsa from "Frozen" considering she turned up on the Met Gala red carpet with her ginger hair in a fabulous textured side-braid, which resembled the famous hairstyle of beloved character from the Disney animated hit. Whether the fictional ice queen played a role in the inspiration for Emma's look remains to be seen, but what we do know is that L’Oréal Paris celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak wanted Emma's hair to match the fresh and young vibe of her 'effortlessly cool' Thakoon two-tone pink dress. STEP-BY-STEP 1. To give Emma a great texture to start with, Mara first applied L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray onto the roots of her hair to get a desired dramatic lift.
For her first red carpet appearance in a year, all eyes were on Kristen Stewart as she arrived for the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala for more than just the fact that she's one of the hottest young actresses around. The 24-year-old was boldly showing off a brand new vivid red hair color for her latest movie, "American Ultra", and she was dressed in a dazzling feathered creation straight from the Chanel Spring 2014 Haute Couture runway. If you could tear your eyes from every glittering feathered sway of her dress, you were immediately brought back to her electric hair that was twisted into an funky little 'do created by Kristen's mane man Adir Abergel. Kristen's eyes were given a dramatic smoky touch courtesy of her go-to makeup artist Jillian Dempsey while CHANEL Celebrity manicurist Gina Viviano topped the look off with an almost-black mani. The Fashion Court has the scoop on how to recreate a desired part of Kristen's look or, you know---from tip-2-toe!
Maggie Q was the epitome of elegance when she emerged onto the annual Met Gala red carpet wearing a show-stopping full Zac Posen gown complete with a diamond statement necklace, matching earrings, strong smoky eyes, and a sleek-and-chic tight evening chignon. Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel helped the "Divergent" star get ready for the ball by taking inspiration from both her gown and some of the great silver screen legends. "The Zac Posen dress that Maggie Q chose had such great volume and drama below the waist and a high, sleek neckline, that I immediately starting pulling from Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly," Adir explained.
Anne Hathaway was amongst the star-studded guest list at this year's glamorous Met Gala, which honored the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" exhibit with a New York City white tie affair. The brunette beauty emerged onto the scarlet carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a belly-baring Calvin Klein Collection bustier dress to match. Anne may have been 'seeing red' with her outfit, but CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Kate Lee opted for pink tones when it came to her bold and shiny pout. "It's an amped up version of bitten lips, paired with coppery eyes," Kate explained the inspiration behind the look. "Anne was wearing a dramatic red column dress, and I wanted to do the opposite of what people would expect. So, instead of putting a red lip with a red dress, we went for this cool pink balanced with a warm shade of eye shadow."
This year's Met Gala may have called for a 'white tie' dress code, but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had the 'call of the wild' on her mind. The 27-year-old model turned actress passed on an evening gown in favor of a ferocious leopard and leather long sleeve Balmain dress that she paired with oversize gold bamboo hoop earrings, a sleek golden mane, and a fierce cat-eye. CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Kate Lee helped Rosie get ready for her Met Ball close-up by first taking inspiration from Rosie's dress and mood, "It's a feline look that still makes you feel relaxed, beautiful and like yourself," Kate explained. "When I asked Rosie to describe the look she wanted in one word, she simply said: 'Feline!' So we did a kick-ass cat-eye, beautiful skin and a natural lip color."
Chloë Grace Moretz donned a very playful head-to-toe Chanel look when she attended the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York City, which honored the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" exhibit this year with a fancy white tie affair. The 17-year-old "Clouds of Sils Maria" actress wore a white embroidered top and matching skirt while her half-pinned long blonde locks draped over her shoulders. As for her makeup, Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh balanced a smoky eye with a pink pout, which complimented the colors of the embellished details in Chloë's outfit. "This is a soft take on a smoky eye that's feminine, with just enough intensity," Mai explained. "We wanted everything to be soft and beautiful. Chloë's dress was pale with tones of ivory, so we thought doing a smoky eye would be a fun contrast, and play off the very feminine look of the dress."

Zoya's Pixie Dust and OPI Liquid Sand polishes, if you're familiar with those. All three of them were very easy to apply and I pretty much got full coverage in just two coats.
