WHO: Alicia Keys
WHERE & WHEN: NFL Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on February 3, 2013.
WEARING: Azzedine Alaïa dress, Marina B jewelry

MY VERDICT: Alicia looked beautiful in red when she took to her piano to perform at NFL Super Bowl XLVII. The “Girl On Fire” singer certainly fit the title of her song in a sleeveless wool crepe, full length body-hugging gown by Azzedine Alaïa, which featured a pleated accordion hem and a square neckline that allowed for Alicia’s necklace to stand out.

She wore a funky gold “Kar” collar from Marina B Jewelry. | continue reading..

WHO: Naya Rivera
WHERE & WHEN: 2013 Kids’ Inaugural concert at the Washington Convention Center on January 19, 2013.
WEARING: Stella McCartney

MY VERDICT: Naya Rivera joined her “Glee” costar Darren Criss as they performed during the Kids’ Inaugural: Our Children, Our Future concert concert for children and military families. The event took place over the weekend before Monday’s Presidential Inauguration for Barack Obama’s second term.  Although we’re already into Pre-Fall 2013 for Stella McCartney, I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of the designer’s Fall 2012 collection—it was too good.  | continue reading..

WHO: Alicia Keys
WHERE & WHEN: President Barack Obama’s Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C. on January 21, 2013.
WEARING: Michael Kors

MY VERDICT: Alicia Keys stunned in red when she celebrated Pesident Barack Obama’s reelection by performing at the Inaugural Ball this evening in Washington, D.C..  The “Girl On Fire” singer wore a gorgeous crimson Michael Kors crewneck matte jersey goddess gown with crystal embroidery, which twisted at the waist and featured a dramatic open back.   This design comes from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by the designer, and I think it was a beautiful choice for Alicia.  It wasn’t busy, but it wasn’t too simple either—and let’s face it, those shimmering embellishments simply captivate.

Alicia wore her short hair pinned up to show off her diamond earrings that matched her bracelet, and completed her look with red open toe platform satin pumps.

WHO: First Lady Michelle Obama
WHERE & WHEN: 2013 Kids’ Inaugural concert at the Washington Convention Center on January 19, 2013.
WEARING: Alexander McQueen

MY VERDICT: For the Kids’ Inaugural: Our Children, Our Future concert to celebrate military families, our First Lady opted for an Alexander McQueen suit ensemble. Mrs. O spoke on-stage wearing a white asymmetric tunic and black straight leg from the Resort 2011 collection, which just so happens to be an outfit she’s apparently very fond—she has been seen wearing it once before while meeting with students at the University of Oxford. | continue reading..

Last night was the biggest concert of the year, or maybe ever, when legendary artists and some of today’s top stars in music performed during the “12-12-12″ concert, which benefited The Robin Hood Relief Fund to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Olivia Wilde took the stage at Madison Square Garden alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs to talk about the way people pulled together to evacuate patients from hospitals when the devastating super storm hit New York and New Jersey area in late October.

Olivia kept her look pretty casual for the event with a black leather jacket and coated jeans. This isn’t far from a typical cool concert look, so I was glad that Olivia kept her outfit relatively ‘normal’ for the event. Her cute cropped asymmetric motorcycle jacket, worn over a long black tee, is by Illia and her high-rise skinny jeans are the “Eve” by Habitual in Coated Licorice. | continue reading..

Katie Holmes looked beautiful last night in head-to-toe Tom Ford when she attended “12-12-12″ The Concert; a five hour long show at Madison Square Garden to benefit The Robin Hood Relief Fund for the Hurricane Sandy Relief. The horrific superstorm hit New Jersey and New York in late October, leaving thousands without power, homes, and for many—their loved ones.

The “Dead Accounts” actress showed her support during the concert while wearing a long-sleeve violet cocktail dress with sheer sleeves and regal-yet-sexy velvet panels. This is a non-presented design from Ford’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. I think I like this dress in color more than the black featured gown. | continue reading..

Blake Lively could care less that it’s the middle of December and she’s in New York—if she wants to wear a ridiculously short dress…she will. The 25-year-old newlywed actress proved that when she hit the red carpet last night for “12-12-12″ The Concert for Sandy Relief. The master-blaster five hour long concert—with performances by Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys and more, was held at Madison Square Garden to aid the victims of the the destructive hurricane, which hit the Northeast in late October, by benefiting The Robin Hood Relief Fund.

The “Gossip Girl” actress slipped into a short sleeve red leather mini dress by Isabel Marant which featured scattered silver beaded embroidery in a pretty western motif.  | continue reading..

Kristen Stewart received instant mixed reviews when she took the stage at Madison Square Garden tonight during “12-12-12″ The Concert—a fantastic benefit for The Robin Hood Relief Fund to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy, which horrifically struck New Jersey, New York and surrounding areas during the last week of October.

The 22-year-old actress stepped out in a very vivid Pre-Fall 2013 neon green and black Jonathan Simhkai colorblock blouse and loose micro-checkerboard print drawstring shorts as she introduced Bon Jovi. | continue reading..

Kylie Minogue in Alexander McQueen | Nobel Peace Prize Concert 2012

Kylie Minogue shined on stage tonight when she performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert!

The Australian pop singer was a musical guest during the annual prestigious concert, which was held at the Oslo Spektrum theater in Oslo, Norway. Kylie looked comfortable and beautiful under the bright lights in a orange silk-chiffon strapless Alexander McQueen gown with a crossover bodice and a flowing skirt. This citrus-hued design comes from the Resort 2013 collection.

I would have loved to have seen her pair the dress with the multicolored short necklace from the line, but Kylie simply completed her look with a diamond bracelet, big sculpted curls and a bright smile.

What did you think of Kylie’s orange McQueen gown?

Sarah Jessica Parker in Erdem | Nobel Peace Prize Concert 2012

Sarah Jessica Parker joined Gerard Butler on stage tonight at the Oslo Spektrum in Norway as the two hosted the annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert in style.

While Gerard suited up in dark grey, the 47-year-old actress opted for a beautiful long-sleeve light blue embroidered floor-length dress by Erdem, which comes from the latest Spring/Summer 2013 collection and features a sassy peek-a-boo illusion panel at the waist and a slit in the column skirt.

I just adore this dress, and I found it to be a lovely choice for SJP. Her hair looked nice styled in long waves—although it’s a change from how we usually see her hair. I can’t be too sure by the angle of the photo, but could it be that she actually went a bit lighter on the eyeliner? I think she emphasized pale blue shadow and toned down the heavy black. At least, I hope so.

She completed her look with jewelry from Fred Leighton.

What did you think of SJP’s long light blue dress?
