MY VERDICT: Rita kept it red hot when she attended the special launch event of Sony Xperia Access last night in London wearing a sheer panel dress by Natalia Kaut. The “Shine Ya Light” singer selected the knee-length ruby patent bustier cocktail dress, a non-presented look from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, with laser cut patterns. I really liked the fit of the dress on Rita, and although I wouldn’t say it’s my style–the sassy, almost risqué, design certainly works for Rita. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Beyonce stepped out in pre-summer style when she joined her husband Jay Z at the ten year anniversary of The 40/40 Club in New York City earlier this week. The “Ego” singer flaunted her curves in a sexy white crotchet Roberto Cavalli gown, a non-presented look from his Spring/Summer 2013 collection, with small cutouts high at the waist.

Between the slinky appearance of the maxi dress, Beyonce’s fresh-face, minimal accessories, and her long sleek tresses–it all just felt glamorously effortless. I really liked this on her.

MY VERDICT: I love it when I see a well-made–and well worn–three piece suit. Henry Cavill gave me the best of both worlds when he stepped out for the premiere party and opening ceremony to celebrate his new movie “Man Of Steel” over the weekend during the 2013 Taormina Filmfest in Italy. The swoon-worthy English actor took a break from his usual go-to designer and opted for a nearly head-to-toe look from Ermenegildo Zegna. Henry was simply dashing in his dark grey two-button peak lapel three piece made-to-measure suit, which he partnered with a shiny white dress shirt and a luxe printed tie in shades of grey.

This look will no doubt increase fan interest in Henry playing the role of Christian Grey, am I right?

MY VERDICT: It may feel like it’s too warm outside for velvet but, luckily for Florence Welch, it was nice and breezy when she stepped out in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton for the Royal Academy Of Arts Summer Exhibition preview party in London. The Florence + the Machine singer selected the three quarter sleeve bronze velvet wide v-neck Fall 2013 dress with mauve lace bordering at the neckline and hems of the sleeves and skirt. The “Resident Evil: Retribution” actress wore a golden peach halterneck silk cocktail dress from the Armani Privé Spring 2013 Haute Couture collection, which features a strappy halterneck held together with a barrel detail. | continue reading..

Bella Heathcote kept it classic in a black embroidered three-quarter sleeve sweater that she streamlined with a mesh overlay pencil skirt. Although the “Dark Shadows” actress played it safe with a pair of black pointed toe pumps and a twisted up-do, I appreciate her pop of color with the yellow puzzle piece Spring 2013 clutch and coral lip color.
