I really liked the neon gown and cosmic baubles Nicki Minaj arrived wearing for the American Music Awards last night, but I can’t say the same about her second dress of choice following the performance of her single “Freedom” during the 40th anniversary of the music awards ceremony.

No Doubt brought the house down and set the stage on fire when they took the American Music Awards stage last night to perform their new single “Lookin’ Hot”, from their first album as a band in ten years!

When Christina Aguilera hit the American Music Awards stage last night to perform a medley of songs from her latest album “Lotus”, things started off slow as Christina’s glittering dancers fluidly moved around the singer who wore a long pink sheer caftan over an obviously embellished bodysuit as she sang the title track of the record.

Almost immediately following the opening song, Christina appeared in the doorway of a trailer set up to recreate the look of her music video for “Your Body”. To help celebrate the annual televised runway holiday presentation, Rihanna hit the pink carpet last night at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City as she was slated for two performances during the show. It was almost another great look for Britney Spears last night when she appeared during the taping of the “We Will Always Love You: A GRAMMY Salute to Whitney Houston”, held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Hollywood.

Brit hit the stage in a cool Lever Couture long-sleeve grey dress, with pleated bell sleeves, from the Fall 2012 collection. I like the design, but Britney needs a dress that comes to her knees. The cut of this particular dress did nothing to flatter her legs.

As for her hair, it’s still looking as fab as it was a few days ago. She accessorized with oversize rose gold hoop earrings by Neil Lane and a pair of grey suede platform oxford booties by Yves Saint Laurent.

The tribute special will air on November 16th at 10pm EST on CBS.

If this is how Nicole Scherzinger kicks off the new season of the “The X Factor” fashion-wise, then I’m going to be very excited about her wardrobe this year.   The 34-year-old U.K. judge participated in the taping of the first live results show of the new season on Sunday night rocking a super sassy cutaway dress.

Filming for the final season of “Gossip Girl” has been well underway since the middle of the summer, and while most good things must come to an end, one thing will always remain — and that’s finding cute new things to add to your wardrobe.

Michelle Tractenberg was spotted heading to set on August 23rd looking cute in a vintage Union Made burnout t-shirt, trendy red skinny jeans, black slingback sandals and a pair of oversize shades to block her eyes from the sun and her attention from the daily crowd of photogs.

Not only am I digging Michelle’s super sleek and pristine ponytail, but I couldn’t divert my eyes from her pretty necklace and funky handbag. The 26-year-old carried a suede “Little Sunny” top-handle handbag from Zadig & Volatire, which would go with just about anything so I’m loving this multi-zippered piece for fall.

As for her necklace, Michelle dressed up her casual ensemble with a beautiful “Abbot” necklace by Charme Silkiner. This beauty is made with 18k sliced gold druzzy and blue crystals. It comes from the forthcoming Holiday 2012 collection and will retail for a cool $248 USD. Yes, it’s totally affordable. Score!

The sixth and final season of “Gossip Girl” premieres on October 8th only on The CW.
