MY VERDICT: Shailene took a break from filming the highly-anticipated “Divergent” this week when she stepped out for the Los Angeles Film Festival premiere of her film “The Spectacular Now”. The 21-year-old actress kept her look pretty casual for the low-key event by opting for a sheer long ivory button-down Kain Label blouse that was worn beneath a sharp angled wool smoking tuxedo blazer by Helmut Lang. Everyone needs a good black blazer, and I’m sort of in love with this one.

Although, Shailene could have easily polished this up by finishing with a skinny pair of black trousers–something she probably should have done, I kind of liked the denim touch. She wore Level 99 faded dark wash blue skinnies with cuffed ankles to show off a pair of funky tan leather, wood and perspex platform ankle strap Marni sandals. Summertime #ShoeEnvy? I vote yes.

Minimal makeup, a Cheyann Benedict ring and a tightly pulled ponytail completed her look.

MY VERDICT: Sophia looked beautiful when she stepped out for the FEED USA + Target launch party in New York City last night. The 30-year-old actress kept her look relaxed–yet super stylish, in a black star printed SMYTHE jacquard pajama blazer and skinny pant, from the Spring 2013 collection, that was paired with a slightly unbuttoned white blouse.

She could have pretty much accessorized with anything at that point because this was, clearly, already a cute outfit–but, then she went ahead and amplified it with pops of red! Soph layered on bracelets from the FEED USA line, which included a red piece that she complimented with a Yves Saint Laurent “Y-MAIL” scarlet satin clutch and a matching pair of pointed toe pumps. Soft swept tresses, turquoise stud earrings, and a ruby matte lip providing the finishing touches. I adored this from head-to-toe!

MY VERDICT: After rocking a playful frock over the weekend, Gwyneth opted for something slightly more sophisticated when she spoke at the Licensing Expo 2013 in Las Vegas last night. The “Iron Man 3″ actress encased her mile-long legs in a pair of flared leg, high waist black trousers and a satin white Prabal Gurung top with fluttering ruffle detail and black bordering.

I’ll be honest that I preferred the colorful motif on this top when it was presented with Gurung’s Fall 2013 collection, but when it came to Gwyneth’s outfit–I like the fact that she kept it a bit more subtle. Well, as subtle as you can be with those cascading elements. Pointed toe pumps, opal drop statement earrings, smooth locks, and a fresh faced provided the finishing touches.

MY VERDICT: Jeff made quite the dapper arrival on the red carpet for the annual Daytime Emmy Awards in a custom-made navy blue suit by Di Stefano. The former “Young and the Restless” star kept things monochromatic by pairing the blazer and flat-front trousers with a matching button-down shirt by Theory and a Burberry silk tie. We often see this style in black, but I prefer the blue on Jeff as it complimented his complexion, hair color, and light eyes.

MY VERDICT: Kelly had a shining moment on the red carpet for the Daytime Emmy Awards when she arrived for the gala wearing a Chagoury Couture black single shoulder gown. The “General Hospital” star selected the fully beaded chiffon long dress with steel blue floral embroidery and a sassy high slit from the Fall/Winter 2011 evening collection. I thought the dress was very beautiful–especially on Kelly. She wore her shoulder length blonde locks in tumbling side-gathered curls before putting the finishing touches on her glamorous look with a black clutch, matching open toe patent pumps and a punch of pink on her pout.

Because I can be picky with shoes, I would have rather seen her show off her footwear with a strappy sandal, but I couldn’t find anything wrong with this look. Kelly was easily one of my favorites of the night.

MY VERDICT: Kristen was all smiles when she joined her “Girl Most Likely” costar Darren Criss on the red carpet for the premiere, held during the 2013 Champs-Elysees Film Festival in Paris today. The 39-year-old actress looked comfortable in a loose, white silk Prabal Gurung asymmetric dress with black contouring and a draped effect at the waist. The dress was fun and unique, and I liked that Kristen gave it a shimmering touch with her gold Giuseppe Zanotti.

I could see that Kristen attempted to keep the “flashiness” isolated, but obviously wanted her accessories to match, and therefore she wore a pair of golden tan leather Pierre Hardy pumps. She looked nice and I didn’t dislike anything, but part of me wishes she had just opted for the gold or black shoe. Light makeup and a beautiful mane of tumbling waves completed her look.

MY VERDICT: Emily added vivid splashes of color to the white carpet at the Dramatically Different soirèe hosted by Clinique in New York City last night by rocking a colorful dress by PREEN. The 27-year-old “Revenge” actress stepped out for the event in the boldly printed long sleeve “Dita” stretch jersey dress, from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. What a perfect fit, and it was nice to see her bust out something equally fun as it was sophisticated.

Although this dress was originally presented sleeveless, you can buy Emily’s exact version online through NET-A-Porter.com.

Emily wore her long blonde hair up in a twisted knot before topping this look off with a punchy pink pout, stacked skinny neon yellow bracelets, and a pair of black satin “Evie” sandals by Brian Atwood with a delicate ankle strap.

MY VERDICT: Taylor brightened up her evening in Santa Monica last night when she attended the special screening for her new Netflix original comedy-drama series “Orange Is The New Black”. The 28-year-old actress, a dedicated fan of all things Calvin Klein, wore a sleeveless cream-color marbled mid-length dress from the Resort 2013 collection with a belted waist and double splits at the center of the bodice and skirt. The dress fit her well but, more than anything, I’m glad she didn’t wear a chunky shoe.

Taylor stayed light on her feet with a pale sand-grey pair of pointed toe Christian Louboutin “June” pumps that picked up the color detailing in the dress. Loosely swept up tresses, light makeup, red nails and jewelry from Cresta Bledsoe completed her look.

Taylor wore the 18k drop bezel set shark tooth fossil earrings and a single 18k black diamond stackable cuff.

MY VERDICT: Rita kept it red hot when she attended the special launch event of Sony Xperia Access last night in London wearing a sheer panel dress by Natalia Kaut. The “Shine Ya Light” singer selected the knee-length ruby patent bustier cocktail dress, a non-presented look from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, with laser cut patterns. I really liked the fit of the dress on Rita, and although I wouldn’t say it’s my style–the sassy, almost risqué, design certainly works for Rita.

My only qualm is that her black ankle strap Michael Kors sandals didn’t flatter her legs at all. The thick straps cut her ankles in a way that actually truncated Rita’s legs. A thinner sandal or a pointed toe pump to streamline would have been a better option. Long twirling platinum blonde tresses, gold jewelry, scarlet nails and Rita’s signature red matte pout completed this look.

MY VERDICT: I was beyond thrilled to watch Cher’s first television performance in ten years when she hit “The Voice” stage during the fourth season finale to debut her new single “Woman’s World”. I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember, and have always admired her tremendous talent, cool personality, and adventurous taste in clothes.

During the performance, Cher rocked a multicolored wind-blown, two-tone mohawk wig in blonde and jet-black, which left many entranced and others shocked in only a way that she can. As for the outfit, she donned a netted and patent leather harness bustier tucked into a trendy pair of leather harem skinny pants with double suspenders dropped to the sides. Take that Bieber!

While staying comfortable in military boots, Cher topped it all off with studded panels her ankles and a gorgeous crystal embroidered Lanvin crop jacket, from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Loree Rodkin jewels provided the finishing touches.

She’s 67-years-old and still rocking it! I simply adore her and her wild style.
