A fashion reprieve for Maggie!

While I was totally against her photocall look, I’m loving her Alexander McQueen gown that she wore to the red carpet premiere of “Hysteria” on Friday night during the 2011 International Rome Film Festival in Italy.

The soft flowing silk winter white dress, with a ruching halter-neck, looked beautiful against her creamy skin; and while she kept the red lips, they were complimented by pink cheeks and everything was smooth sailing with her hair this time around. | continue reading..

Did Maggie Gyllenhall get dressed in the dark for the “Hysteria” photocall on Friday?

While I like her Dries Van Noten Spring 2012 scenery printed open-sided dress, I’m not sure what possessed her to wear them with these brown, violet and wood wedges.

It doesn’t look good… it doesn’t even sound good as an idea. The shoes don’t match and the dress looks like a tent on her.

On top of all that she wore thick black tights, bright red lips, and a messy bun. I can see the flyaways all over her head even from a small photo.

She looks like she just woke up.

I know Maggie can do better than this.

Noomi Rapace looked absolutely amazing last night at the premiere of “Babycall” during the 6th International Rome Film Festival.

Sometimes you just get everything right, and she totally nailed it for me wearing this beautiful red gathered one shoulder floor-length dress from the Pre-Fall 2011 Collection by Giambattista Valli.

Noomi paired her dress with a pair of Christian Louboutin “Figurina” pumps that matched both her dress (hello red sole!), her beautiful black/gold Bulgari “Serpenti” minaudière, and the equally striking gold embellished cuff she’s wearing. | continue reading..

For her third look of the day, Nikki Reed hit the red carpet with Jackson Rathbone at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica for the 6th International Rome Film Festival premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ wearing a winter white silk tulle gown with a plunging neckline by Maria Lucia Hohan.

The sides are also cut low, and the back features double draping detail which leaves the gown nearly backless — if it weren’t for the exposed zipper. Nikki may be showing a lot of skin, but there’s actually a sheer illusion fabric preventing a ‘wardrobe malfunction’. | continue reading..

This is more like it! Nikki Reed rocked her Casadei lace frill peep toe boots once again today, and they looked better with this dress than the Jenni Kayne hot pink mini.

Nikki wore a black “Ghana” embellished shift dress from the cruise ALICE by Temperley collection for a photocall and press conference to promote ”The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″  during the 6th International Rome Film Festival.

This morning Nikki Reed and co-star Jackson Rathbone were photographed at the Lancia Cafe at Auditorium Parco Della Musica during the 6th Rome Film Festival.

Nikki and Jackson are currently in Rome to promote “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″.

Nikki looked very pretty in a vibrant hot pink sleeveless dress from the Jenni Kayne Fall/Winter 2011 collection that features connecting flaps which give off the illusion of an attached vest over the dress with slanted pockets. | continue reading..

Penelope Cruz joined her “Venuto al Mondo” co-star Emile Hirsch at the 6th International Rome Film Festival this past Wednesday to attend the photocall and panel for their movie with their director Sergio Castellitto.

Penelope and Emile matched! Both were wearing white button down shirts and black suits, although Penelope’s was by Dolce & Gabbana and tailored.

There’s no way I can’t hate on this suit, it’s nice and fits her well…I just don’t know why she wore it. Someone told me it looked like she was going on a job interview, now that’s all I see when I look at this photo. It’s totally clouded my mind and I just keep thinking she’s missing a briefcase. | continue reading..
