There’s no doubt about it — the warmest and best dressed celebrity on the red carpet this past Sunday for the 2012 Orange British Film and Television Awards would have to be fashion correspondent Miss Piggy!

The famous Muppet star rocked a head-to-toe custom look by Louis Vuitton that included a blush strapless ballgown that was modified from a Fall/Winter 2010 design. She paired it with bow applique pumps and long velvet gloves that she topped off with a diamond trimmed cocktail ring.

That pig, so chic.

“Mad Men” actress Christina Hendricks easily brightened up her black satin gown by Vivienne Westwood for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards with her vibrant red hair!

The gathering details and corset style hugged her curves, but I can’t help wanting to take off the singular cap-sleeve. I don’t have a problem with asymmetric straps, but in this case I’d rather see it the same on both sides whether it’s sleeveless or not. | continue reading..

I was totally surprised when I saw Berenice Bejo hit the red carpet on Sunday night for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards in an Azzedine Alaïa haute couture gown!

Bonnie Wright joined her fiancé Jamie Campbell Bower at the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards this past Sunday in a dress by one of her favorite designers — Miuccia Prada.

The 20-year-old former “Harry Potter” actress wore a vintage blue long-sleeve Prada dress with white polka print that featured ruffling at the neck, wrist, and hem. Bonnie wore this with black tights and bright pink suede open toe wedges… hmm. | continue reading..

Melissa George was illuminating in her long-sleeved onyx black beaded gown when she arrived on the red carpet at the Royal Opera House this past Sunday for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards.

The Australian actress selected this gown from the Fall/Winter 2009 collection by Victoria Beckham, and I think in a sea of strapless gowns, this warm and exciting design really stood out; I love the way it fits on Melissa. | continue reading..

“Bridesmaids” actress Kristen Wiig wore an ethereal white silk strapless gown with ruching detail by Alberta Ferretti tonight for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards.

I love the way the dress hung on her body; it was simple and chic — she looked so pretty. The dress didn’t wash her out and she didn’t have any weird accessories to distract from her look tonight which has been the case for a few recent appearances. | continue reading..

Octavia Spencer arrived at the Orange British Academy Film Awards tonight in a white button-front shirt with an embroidered organza black skirt from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Tadashi Shoji that she broke off with a Yves Saint Laurent patent belt.

This was a very different but flattering look for “The Help” actress although it has gotten some very mixed reviews so far. She looked nice and I’m sure she was not only comfortable, but she was a lot warmer than the other ladies on the carpet tonight in sleeveless gowns. With that said, I wish she had worn a blouse or even a top similar to the style on the model. | continue reading..

I wasn’t surprised to see “The Help” star Viola Davis in a shade of pink tonight for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards as this is a color she’s been a fan of wearing a lot over the past month and half.

The BAFTA-nominated actress stepped out on the red carpet tonight in a custom eco-friendly one shoulder gown by Valentino. Fun fact – this dress is made from recycled plastic bottles! Amazing!

With gathering at the hip which turned into a super high slit, this cut allowed for Viola to show off her dark patent strappy platform Jimmy Choo sandals. | continue reading..

Tilda Swinton was one of my favorite ladies on the red carpet for the Orange British Academy Film Awards in her Celine gown.

The “We Need To Talk About Kevin” BAFTA-nominated actress arrived at the Royal Opera House in what appears to be a modified version of the cap-sleeve ivory gown seen at the Pre-Fall 2012 collection. | continue reading..
