Eva Longoria spent her weekend on the red carpet in Marbella, Spain as she celebrated the 2012 Global Gift Gala. On Saturday night, the former “Desperate Housewives” actress stepped out on the scarlet rug for a fundraiser at the Aqua Mist Club to represent the Eva Longoria Foundation, a beneficiary of the evening, wearing a sassy little black dress by Alberta Ferretti.

Eva wore a strapless cocktail number with a flirty chiffon skirt and satin ribbon with red embellished detailing all throughout the design. This dress comes from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The sparkling embroidery basically makes the whole design for me, but I will say that I’m thoroughly disappointed that Eva shortened the dress from the original knee-length from the runway. Anna Dello Russo, Editor-at-Large and Creative Consultant for VOGUE Japan, took in the 2012 Cannes Film Festival festivities when she attended the premiere of “The Paperboy” on Thursday.

Was this one of the best looks we’ve seen on Anna? I think so. She looked great in a strapless white crepe gown with tiered tulle side detail from the Fall 2012 collection by Alberta Ferretti.

Lana Del Rey wore a black version of this same gown to the opening ceremony last week.

Kind of taboo, no?

Thankfully, Anna looked nice — though her long straight locks would have been nicer pulled up to show off the neckline design.

She completed her look with red nails, a gold cuff and a matching minaudière.
