I was a bit surprised to see “The Hunger Games” actor Alexander Ludwig at the Versace private dinner this past Wednesday–almost as much as I was by his bold fashion choice!

The 20-year-old actor rocked an electric dark blue-and-black jacquard suit from the Fall 2012 Menswear collection, which he partnered with a white shirt rather than the printed mock top seen on the runway model. While he passed on that shirt, he didn’t on the print–Alex donned a tie in the same bright blue pattern.

I’m totally into this look, and if this kind of wardrobe choice becomes a regular thing for him when it comes to the red carpet–I could see Alex moving on top on my “men to watch” radar.

He finished off his look with a spiky ‘do and brown burnished dress shoes.

During the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2012 last night, First Lady Michelle Obama presented Taylor with the “Big Help” award for her contributions to giving back to the community — especially during the hurricanes last year.
