MY VERDICT: Amanda joined her “Les Miserables” costars for a special pre-Oscar celebration hosted by the Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood, which was held in support of The Los Angeles Fund for Public Education. The 27-year-old wore a Christian Dior Resort 2013 blue and silver printed silk serge dress. I think the dress is adorable and I love the pairing of the matching royal blue sapphire platform “Naomie” pumps by Alexandre Birman, however, Amanda looks more like she’s in her early teens than her late twenties. I’m not sure if it’s the outfit or the pose, but this seems like something Kiernan Shipka should be wearing. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Katy shined bright in tangerine when she stepped out on the red carpet for the annual pre-Grammys MusiCares Person Of The Year Gala, which honored Bruce Springsteen.  The “Wide Awake” singer allowed for her raven black long curls to stand out while flaunting her famous curves in a high neck Alexander McQueen gown, from the Resort 2013 collection.  The smooth backless design features a glittering gorgeous multicolor crystal neckline, which dubs as a necklace.  Emily Blunt wore this back in October, and while I liked the dress on the actress, I was disappointed with the lack of the belt.  In Katy’s case, I’m actually glad she passed on it as I feel like it would have truncated her body considering her larger bust. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I can’t say that I’m surprised that Amanda wore lace to the Berlinale premiere of her new movie “Lovelace”, but that didn’t mean her beautiful Elie Saab royal blue sleeveless tiered lace gown was anticlimactic either.  Sadly, the ivory slip she wore beneath the Spring 2013 sheer design was too bright, and therefore it took away from the sexy drama added to the ladylike fabric.  I’m sure there was a better way to bring this see-through design to the red carpet without covering up so much of the original look.  That being said, I loved Amanda’s glamorous curls and vibrant pink pout.

MY VERDICT: Amanda selected to wear a very beautiful silk peach dress from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which features metallic embellished panels beginning at the halter neckline and continuing until the loose hem of the skirt.  I wouldn’t want to alter the dress in any way, but considering Amanda’s height, she could have afforded to take off a few inches to simply achieve the silhouette from the runway where it ends just below the knee.  As for her shoes? I totally support her choice of pewter strappy Alexandre Birman “Sally” sandals.  Amanda’s long strawberry blonde tresses were styled in pretty ringlets before she completed her look with a raspberry pout. | continue reading..

I’m sure Amanda Seyfried was thankful for the unusual warm weather in New York City tonight when she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater for an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” wearing a tiny black dress.

The blonde actress was a guest on the show to promote “Les Misèrables”—which hits theaters on Christmas Day! Amanda wore a black Michael Kors tricotine shift with gold passementerie; the sleeveless pocket design is a non-presented look from the Resort 2013 collection. The 27-year-old beautiful blonde actress bared a lot of skin in the early December nighttime air wearing a black mid-length silk flamenco ruffled Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquiere, from the designer’s final spring collection with the high fashion label.  The square neckline gives way to a plunging v-neck bustier that is both sexy as it was seemingly uncomfortable; Amanda was seen adjusting herself a few times on the livestream.  | continue reading..

Taking a break from filming the second installment of “The Hunger Games” series entitled “Catching Fire”, Jennifer Lawrence was a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last night to promote another “Silver Linings Playbook”—in which she costars opposite Bradley Cooper. Lucky girl.

The 22-year-old actress flaunted her curves in a light grey short sleeve body-con dress from the T by Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2013 collection. This smooth design is pretty solid with the exception of the zip detail at the hem that provides a sultry slit.  I can understand why Jennifer left hers zipped up as it might have turned the look too sexy for the appearance, but I’m also disappointed as it was the highlight of this dress for me when I originally saw it. | continue reading..

Nikki Reed was talking my talk when attended the 10th anniversary of Teen Vogue’s annual Young Hollywood soirèe on Thursday.

After attending “The Scenemakers” event earlier in the evening wearing a pretty floral frock, the 23-year-old actress did a wardrobe change before making her way to the Beverly Hills bash. Nikki hit the red carpet rocking a monochrome look by Emporio Armani, who also sponsored the event.
