Photos: Zimbio; Style.comMY VERDICT: Caroline Sunshine was all smiles on the red carpet as she joined her “Shake It Up” costars Bella Thorne and Zendaya to celebrate the first annual Radio Disney Music Awards. The 17-year-old actress opted for a bold fashion approach by selecting the Alice + Olivia “Sia” peter pan collard placket gown, from the Spring 2013 collection, which features a fun all over orange flower pattern and a white belt sitting at the natural waist.
I won’t deny that the dress aged Caroline a bit, but I think that could have been avoided slightly by styling her long blonde hair into a high ponytail instead of a mature bun. Hoop earrings, the perfect amount of makeup, and a silver clutch completed her look.

The “Baby Daddy” actress selected the “Taryn” beaded cap sleeve fitted dress from the Spring 2013 collection by Alice + Olivia. I’m a tad bit obsessed with this dress because A) it’s sparkles–so, duh, B) the knee length design is practically the most flattering cut for a woman, and C) the shade of yellow is so pretty.
I’m not surprised that this dress has become a celebrity favorite; you may remember Vanessa Hudgens rocking it on “The Tonight Show” last month. It was a great choice for Chelsea, and it helps that her angled swept bob haircut suits her dress perfectly. My only qualm is that she had worn a better shoe. She didn’t need anything distracting, but the nude pointed toe leather pump was kind of boring and office-ready. After seeing this dress with a gold sandal and printed fun (pictured on model)–I was let down.
A Doves by Doron Paloma yellow gold quartz and diamond ring and Kabana diamond and opal earrings completed her look.

Photos: Zimbio; Alice + OliviaMY VERDICT: Ariana joined the pack of stylish young ladies rocking Alice + Olivia by hitting the violet and orange Kids’ Choice Awards carpet in the “Kirie” dress. The former “Victorious” actress selected the Spring 2013 design by Stacey Bendet that features a pleated solid bodice in a rich lipstick red shade and a fun popped printed skirt. It was a very cute choice, but I’m a bit bummed that Ariana passed on the bow belt.
She kept her accessories minimal and swept pieces of her long hair back before finishing off with a nude hidden platform pumps. I think a lightweight strappy red sandal, similar to that on the model, would have been a better footwear choice.

Photos: Zimbio; Style.comMY VERDICT: I’m pretty sure Zendaya gets an obvious red carpet “A” for creativity! The “Shake It Up” star, and new “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, arrived for the 2013 KCAs rocking a cool mismatched spring ensemble. The teen started with a colorful Spring 2013 “Lollie” fit-and-flare sleeveless dress from Alice + Olivia that she partnered with a lightweight pale grey pullover. I totally dig the way these two pieces blended for an effortless retro look due to the embellished collar on the dress that peeked out over the layered top.
Zendaya played homage to the 1950s with funky cat-eyed sunglasses before finishing off with a dark red talon manicure, a hot pink clutch, and sky-high Ruthie Davis platform “Jolie” strappy boots in the dark burgundy Vamp color. There are a lot of colors and trends going on here that you probably wouldn’t imagine working so well together, but they do.
Well, at least when you’re 16-years-old.

Photos: Zimbio; Style.com; Steven Madden; PopMollyMY VERDICT: Peyton joined her “Jessie” costar Debby Ryan at the Kids’ Choice Awards this year, and while Debs kept it bright in yellow, Peyton did a cool take on vintage Barbie by adding some pops of hot pink to her black and white outfit. The 14-year-old actress paired a cropped black t-shirt with the adorably chic “Delaney” beaded striped flare skirt from the Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet Spring 2012 collection. | continue reading..
Photos: Zimbio; Alice + OliviaMY VERDICT: Bella used silver as the blank canvas for pops of color for her Kids’ Choice Awards look. The teen “Shake It Up” star paired a metallic peplum top and mini skirt by Bec & Bridge together before adding in burst of neon by selecting the DANNIJO “Capucine” necklace with lines of orange, hot pink, bright green and yellow Swarovski crystals surrounding the neck. Bella pulled a shade from her necklace when selecting her footwear and opted for matching neon pink “Devon” pointed toe pumps from Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet. | continue reading..
Photos: Zimbio; Style.com; Jerome C. Rousseau; DemarcoMY VERDICT: Vanessa brightened up the “Tonight Show” when she sat down for an interview with host Jay Leno while wearing a vibrant yellow beaded “Taryn” cap sleeve fitted dress by Alice + Olivia. Is it possible to be in love with a dress? Because, if it is–I am. I love the simplistic but all-around-flattering cut of this dress, but it’s the crunchy embellished detailing that’s as stunning as the color. This was certainly a wise choice for Vanessa; the color complimented her hair color and caramel complexion while also popping off the screen. | continue reading..
Photos: Zimbio; Style.comMY VERDICT: I think I may have found my number one cocktail dress of the week. Katheryn hit the red carpet last night for the Hollywood premiere of “A Glimpse Inside The Mind of Charles Swan III” where she donned a beautiful sunny yellow sequin embellished cap sleeve fitted “Taryn” dress by Alice + Olivia. There aren’t any major ‘frills’ to the design; it’s a classic silhouette–a flattering one, and the color is a beautiful shade on practically every complexion. The LBD may be the go-to dress, but I think this cocktail number should be the favorite evening look this spring and summer.
Katheryn styled her long golden blonde tresses in glamorous waves before finishing off her look with shimmering eyeshadow and a clutch to match. I’m confused as to why she wore such a neutral daytime ready pump. I’m assuming she wanted to length her leg and not distract from the dress, but Katheryn could have done the same thing with a strappy sandal in the same color.
