On Saturday night, the stars of daytime television hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to attend the 39th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards.

The ladies of your favorite soaps stepped out to flaunt their figures, and let’s face it — perfect hair — in glamorous gowns! Amongst the crowd were actresses from your current favorite shows and some familiar faces from “All My Children” and “One Life to Live”. Those long-running beloved soaps sadly went off the air last year.

The movie event of the season hits theaters this month! “The Hunger Games”, based off the hugely popular young adult book series by Suzanne Collins, makes its way to the big screen with some even bigger names in music and film. But, joining the likes of Donald Sutherland, Lenny Kravitz and Woody Harrelson on the bill with this Hollywood heavy-hitters are star Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and a new face to the silver screen — LEVEN RAMBIN.

The 21-year-old Los Angeles native got her big break on the ABC soap opera “All My Children”, and has since had roles on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “One Tree Hill”. Leven stars as Glimmer, a tribute from District 4 in “The Hunger Games”.

With a major movie comes major promotion, so it shoudn’t come as a surprise that Genlux Magazine asked the starlet and her co-star Wes Bentley to participate in a very daring “behind-the-scenes” photoshoot for their Spring 2012 issue — shot by photographer Jeff Berlin. | continue reading..
