Amanda Seyfried in Three Floor | 2013 MTV Movie Awards

Amanda Seyfried in Three Floor | 2013 MTV Movie Awards Photos: Zimbio; Three Floor; Rupert Sanderson
WHO: Amanda Seyfried
WHERE & WHEN: 2013 MTV Movie Awards held on April 14, 2013.
WEARING: Three Floor dress, Rupert Sanderson shoes

MY VERDICT: Amanda was missing on the red carpet, but the “Les Misérables” star took the stage during the show to present an award with Steve Carrell. The 27-year-old actress took baby steps with the popular lace illusion trend by rocking a long-sleeve nude Three Floor mini dress with strategically placed China Blue lace embroidery. Striped panels along the arms, borders and center were lined with black detail.

The dress is also available with black lace, which I prefer, but I think the blue was a better option for Amanda. | continue reading..

Amanda Seyfried in Christian Dior | Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013 Pre-Oscars Celebration of “Les Misèrables”

WHO: Amanda Seyfried
WHERE & WHEN: Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013 Pre-Oscars “Les Misèrables” Celebration on February 20, 2013.
WEARING: Christian Dior shoes, Alexandre Birman shoes

MY VERDICT: Amanda joined her “Les Miserables” costars for a special pre-Oscar celebration hosted by the Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood, which was held in support of The Los Angeles Fund for Public Education. The 27-year-old wore a Christian Dior Resort 2013 blue and silver printed silk serge dress. I think the dress is adorable and I love the pairing of the matching royal blue sapphire platform “Naomie” pumps by Alexandre Birman, however, Amanda looks more like she’s in her early teens than her late twenties. I’m not sure if it’s the outfit or the pose, but this seems like something Kiernan Shipka should be wearing. | continue reading..

Amanda Seyfried in Roksanda Ilincic | “Lovelace” Photocall – 2013 Berlinale International Film Festival

WHO: Amanda Seyfried
WHERE & WHEN: “Lovelace” photocall at the 63rd Berlinale International Film Festival on February 9, 2013.
WEARING: Roksanda Ilincic dress

MY VERDICT: In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Amanda brightened up her black tights and suede booties when she slipped on the lipstick red “Audrey” dress by Roksanda Ilincic for the “Lovelace” photocall before the Berlinale premiere.  She was joined by her costars James Franco and Peter Sarsgaard.  The wool fabric and drop waist prevented it from being too light for the wintry accessories, but the sleeveless cut and lithe design perked the overall look up as well.  It’s a famous fashion rule that every woman should own “a little black dress”, but with a timeless silhouette like this, I think Amanda presented the perfect example of the “LRD” every gal needs. Cherry glossed lips and a soft mane completed her daytime look. | continue reading..

Amanda Seyfried in Nina Ricci | “Les Misérables” Premiere – 2013 Berlinale International Film Festival

WHO: Amanda Seyfried
WHERE & WHEN: “Les Misérables” premiere at the 63rd Berlinale International Film Festival on February 9, 2013.
WEARING: Nina Ricci dress, Rupert Sanderson shoes

MY VERDICT: Double the premiere, double the fun!  After stepping out for “Lovelace” during the annual Berlinale Film Festival tonight, Amanda was back on the red carpet to join her “Les Misérables” costars for another showing of their Oscar-nominated film.  The 27-year-old actress gathered her curls up into a high ponytail to show off the sultry strappy open back of her sequin-embellished, high-neck black Nina Ricci cocktail dress.  Despite it’s sexy dark nature, the slinky design comes from the Spring 2013 collection.  Amanda complimented the dress with strappy “Harting” sandals by Rupert Sanderson, before adding a pop of color with scarlet red lips. | continue reading..

Amanda Seyfried in Elie Saab | “Lovelace” Premiere – 2013 Berlinale International Film Festival

WHO: Amanda Seyfried
WHERE & WHEN: “Lovelace” premiere at the 63rd Berlinale International Film Festival on February 9, 2013.
WEARING: Elie Saab dress, Alexandre Birman shoes, and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

MY VERDICT: I can’t say that I’m surprised that Amanda wore lace to the Berlinale premiere of her new movie “Lovelace”, but that didn’t mean her beautiful Elie Saab royal blue sleeveless tiered lace gown was anticlimactic either.  Sadly, the ivory slip she wore beneath the Spring 2013 sheer design was too bright, and therefore it took away from the sexy drama added to the ladylike fabric.  I’m sure there was a better way to bring this see-through design to the red carpet without covering up so much of the original look.  That being said, I loved Amanda’s glamorous curls and vibrant pink pout.

Amanda Seyfried in Zac Posen | 2013 SAG Awards

WHO: Amanda Seyfried
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.
WEARING: Zac Posen dress, Jimmy Choo shoes & Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

MY VERDICT: The last thing any lady wants to hear after she’s gotten ready all day for a major event is that she was dressed like another attendee. Amanda’s look was compared to Jennifer Lawrence all night long, but I for one see a blue strapless dress and side swept hair in common.  They’re visually so different that you could love one and dislike the other.  While I personally didn’t dislike the other, I still loved this Zac Posen on Amanda so much more.

Remember when I wasn’t crazy about the nude dress the “Les Misèrables” starlet wore earlier this month?  Well, she didn’t let that happen twice!  Amanda looked beautiful in her dramatic navy Pre-Fall 2013 mermaid gown, which featured a long tiered hem.  Her long golden blonde waves were styled perfectly for a youthful touch to an elegant ensemble, and I liked that her smoky eyes were paired with a nude lip.  The only thing I’m not crazy about?  Amanda’s long Lorraine Schwartz pendant necklace.  It’s a great accessory, but not with this gown. FYI: Amanda wore the “Vibe” pumps by Jimmy Choo. | continue reading..

Amanda Seyfried in Roland Mouret | 2013 Producers Guild Awards

Amanda Seyfried in Roland Mouret | 2013 Producers Guild AwardsPhotos: Zimbio; Style.com; Jimmy Choo
WHO: Amanda Seyfried
WHERE & WHEN: 24th Annual Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills on January 26, 2013.
WEARING: Roland Mouret dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Judith Leiber clutch & Cathy Waterman jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Amanda wore such a beautiful color at the PGAs this year.  The “Les Misèrables” star selected one of my favorite looks from Roland Mouret‘s Resort 2013 collection, a vivid orange “Fairlea” cocktail dress with a draped neck, a crisscross open back and black belted waist.  Unfortunately, she failed to bring what I loved so much about it to the red carpet.  The draped effect looked messy and the folded detail at the top of the skirt fell totally flat. The dress was also too long on her; it should’ve hit at the knee, not below.  I hate to be so naggy about it, but it was a bit disappointing to see those details gone. | continue reading..

Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy | 2013 Golden Globes

WHO: Amanda Seyfried
WHERE & WHEN: 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 13, 2013.
WEARING: Givenchy

MY VERDICT: Although I found Amanda’s custom-made Givenchy lace gown to be very beautiful, I don’t think it stood out as much as it could.  It was so light against her fair complexion and long blonde hair, which was styled over her shoulders to cover the neckline—and I found that to be the most important part of the design.  I liked her makeup and jewelry, but this wasn’t one of my favorite looks of the night.  If the dress had been a different and darker color, I think I would have probably loved it.
