Julia Stiles in AMEN Couture | 2013 SAG Awards

WHO: Julia Stiles
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.
WEARING: AMEN Couture dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes & Le Vian jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Julia glittered her way down the red carpet over the weekend looking beautiful in a AMEN Couture electric sequin embellished dark silver gown with a ultra-plunging neckline. The “Silver Linings Playbook” star selected the dress from the Fall 2012 collection, and played up the glamour by styling her hair in vintage Hollywood swept waves.  She kept her neck bare but opted for adding a bit more glitz with Le Vian jewelry and a pair of metallic “Orner” platform strappy sandals by Jerome C. Rousseau. Both are pictured below.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead in AMEN | W’s 40th Anniversary + Book Release of “W: The First 40 Years”

Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been killing it lately on the red carpet, but on Wednesday, she stepped off the scarlet rug and attended W Magazine’s 40th anniversary dinner and book release of “W: The First 40 Years” at Spago in Beverly Hills.

The “Smashed” actress continued to flaunt her stellar style by wearing a black wool-blend dress from the Fall 2012 collection by AMEN, with long-sleeves, a lightly pleated skirt and a gorgeous a ornate motif at the bodice made up of gold sequin embroidery.

While the dress was a beautiful choice for Mary, my favorite part of the look had to be the shoes!

She wore a fierce pair of black leather t-bar double ankle strap sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti that were completely embellished with mini gold studs. Mary topped the look off with a matching minaudière and a low ponytail.

What did you think of Mary Elizabeth’s dinner look?

Jessica Stroup in AMEN | “Ted” LA Premiere

Jessica Stroup looked beautiful on the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre red carpet last week for the premiere of “Ted”!

The 25-year-old actress arrived in a white dress with leather and beaded embroidery from the Spring 2012 collection by AMEN.

I love the loose cut and modern chic feel. I think it was greatly suited for Jessica’s body and really brightened up against her sun-kissed skin and dark tresses. It actually looks like she added some length to her mane with some layered extensions! | continue reading..

Lea Michele in AMEN | “Late Show with David Letterman”

After seeing the dress that Lea Michele wore on the “Late Show with David Letterman” last night, I couldn’t help but wish she had left on the outfit she arrived in.

The 25-year-old actress wore a cream-colored jersey cut-out mini dress by AMEN, but it just wasn’t her dress — for obvious reasons. While the form-fitting design hugged her toned figure, Lea was ‘busting out’ way too much.

When your cleavage starts taking on the form of a ‘fake tushy’, you’re pushing it too far. | continue reading..

Victoria Justice looked fabulous on the blue carpet last Sunday night for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards official post-party thrown by Warner Bros./InStyle Magazine.

The “Victorious” star wore a beige mini dress with a pretty pearl and bead-embellished neckline from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Amen. | continue reading..

Paula Patton in AMEN | Visiting SiriusXM Studio

While doing some promotional interviews around New York City before walking the red carpet at the premiere of “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” last night, Paula Patton was spotted wearing, yet another, long-sleeve mini dress!

I’m a huge fan of the long-sleeve style, and in addition to my love for the colorful dress she wore for the premiere, I also really liked this black mini by AMEN. Paula stopped by SiriusXM Studio yesterday morning for an interview on “Sway in the Morning” wearing a look from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection.

Because of the edgy style, I’m glad the loose curls she styled her hair in weren’t very ‘glam’ — that would’ve been a bit overdone. Even still, a ponytail would have looked better.

There’s no doubt that I like her black tights — but she needed to loose the boots. I have nothing against a classic suede ankle boot, but a bright shoe, something with a print, or even a style with a stand-out detail would have been preferable. These were just… boring.

Why didn’t she break out another eye-catching look from Brian Atwood?

Fergie in AMEN | The Trevor Project’s 2011 Trevor Live!

While the Black Eyed Peas are taking an “indefinite” break, Fergie is taking advantage of any free time she has. On Saturday night, the 36-year-old singer came out to support Trevor Live!, a concert and ceremony event hosted by The Trevor Project — a non-profit crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ.

Fergie stepped out on the red carpet at The Hollywood Palladium in a metallic sequin graphic print mini dress by AMEN with black dipped feathers at the sleeve opening.

I’m not a big fan of the feathers, but maybe I’m just not a big feather fan in general. While fun, I do believe this dress was too busy and short for her. I wouldn’t have wanted her hair out, but the Michelle Tanner ‘do along with the velvet and leather strappy sandals made for a very Video Music Awards look. Don’t get me wrong though, her Gio Diev sandals are actually pretty fierce. | continue reading..

2011 American Music Awards Red Carpet Round Up

2011 American Music Awards Red Carpet Round UpPhotos: Zimbio
There was a little bit of everything going on with the red carpet arrivals for the 2011 American Music Awards on Sunday at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

Some animal print, a little peasant-ness, and a whole lot of strapless.

Mary J. Blige arrived in style wearing an asymmetric leopard print gown by Roberto Cavalli that she accentuated with a tight beehive hairstyle and massive diamond drop earrings. | continue reading..
