The English actress wore a billow-sleeved long dress from Ilincic’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection,which features tapered cobalt blue cuffs and a matching ruffled collar—a detail Andrea passed on in favor of a cleaner neckline. The 30-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre wearing a beautiful black cocktail dress with silver metallic embroidery from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Marchesa.

It’s not often that I like what Madonna wears, but just last week I had praised her “W.E.” UK premiere dress as one of the best things she had worn lately. That held me over for a few days, because she topped it on Sunday when she attended the 2012 Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills.

The stars came out for the BAFTA Los Angeles’ 18th Annual Awards Season Tea Party yesterday, which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw arrived on the red carpet at the Escada sponsored event wearing an olive green silk satin chiffon dress with a ruched top and beautiful full skirt that was given a nice silhouette with a wrapped belt. Andrea Riseborough was easily my favorite on the red carpet for the London premiere of “W.E.” at the Odeon Kensington on Wednesday night.

For one, her hair was looking better than ever! I love this strawberry red shade she has going on. It was exceptionally nice with my second favorite thing about her look – that dark red Marios Schwab dress!

It’s less than 48 hours until Christmas, but Andrea Riseborough got started celebrating the festive season early when she attended BVLGARI’s holiday party in Los Angeles on December 7th.

The “W.E.” star wore an anything-but-holiday themed dress for the event, which was held at Sherbourne restaurant, she selected an ice blue embroidered dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Erdem.

It’s not that I don’t love this collection, but I’ve been having such a tough time enjoying its transition from the catwalk to the carpet. The embroidered prints and lace detail at the neckline and three-quarter sleeves are gorgeous, but Andrea looks really stiff in it — and the entire bottom portion is completely wrinkled.

It looks like she tried to take a cue from the runway with the scarlet lippe and sleek hairstyle, although she opted for an on-trend ‘top knot’. I love her Bulgari “Isabella Rosellini” canvas bag, but it’s clashing terribly with her outfit. This is a casual bag; she needed an evening clutch. | continue reading..

On Sunday night, Andrea Riseborough arrived at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City to attend the Cinema Society screening of her film “W.E.” hosted by Pigaet.

The English actress is still sporting a lighter hair color, but the shade seems to be deeper than when I saw her at the Hollywood Film Awards earlier this season.

Andrea’s hair really popped against her monochrome dress. For the evening, she selected a black fil coupe’ organza dress with white contrast bodice from the Resort 2012 collection by designer Oscar de la Renta. | continue reading..

The stars came out for the annual BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Andrea Riseborough graced the red carpet in a bright white sweetheart strapless cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Marchesa.

This silk chiffon dress with tulle peplums was originally presented embroidered during New York Fashion Week in September, but Andrea selected an unembellished design. Perhaps it’s from Marchesa Bridal?

Andrea has a classic style; I’m not surprised that she went for a cleaner style. She didn’t need the embroidery at the neckline, but I would have preferred that the actual dress and opening at the hem still contained the beautiful details from the catwalk. | continue reading..

I speculated on Twitter earlier that Andrea Risenborough was wearing a Vionnet gown, possibly from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, last night at the 15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala. As it turns out, I was correct!
