Angelina Jolie was a knock-out on the red carpet last night for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards; her Jenny Packham draped gown — from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection — looked like it was dripping down her body.

This molten look was so sultry yet elegant; I just love how it hangs.

I think her look would have been even better with one of her sleek ponytails, but I do like her swept back voluminous tresses. They showed off her fierce gold and black vintage drop hoop earrings from House of Lavande. | continue reading..

It was a night of improvement for Angelina Jolie when she joined Brad Pitt (in a black Versace suit!) on the red carpet for the 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.

It’s rare that I actually dislike what Angelina wears, and I usually prefer when she wears color, but it’s only a few weeks into 2012 and I already think this is one of the best things she’ll probably wear all year.

The red carpet rolled out tonight at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood for the premiere of “In The Land of Blood and Honey”.

Writer and director Angelina Jolie arrived on the arm of Brad Pitt (in Tom Ford) looking absolutely radiant in a midnight blue asymmetric floor-length dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by designer Romona Keveza. Ang and Brad were actually color-matching!

The daring gown featured a sweetheart neckline and gathering at the waist that gave way to a side split. I believe this might be the first time Angelina has worn a design by Keveza for a red carpet premiere, but the first time was already ‘a charm’. I adore the deep hue and cut; it fit Angie like a glove.

A Swarovski crystal-encrusted navy blue strappy sandal would have sky-rocketed this look, but I nearly wept when I laid eyes on her nude peep toe Jimmy Choo pumps. Really?!?! | continue reading..

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Angelina Jolie’s look at the New York premiere of her latest film “In The Land of Blood and Honey”, but then when she takes the “all black everything” route by putting it into a suit — my whole view is changed.

Not only did Angie hit a high note by wearing a suit to the screening of the film hosted by Marie Claire Magazine at the Hearst Tower on Tuesday night — it was velvet!

Angelina selected a velvet tuxedo from the Holiday 2011 collection by L’Agence that she paired with a black top. I really, really wish she had worn the blouse from the collection. The embellished detail, plunging neck, and nipped waist giving way to a skirted hem would have looked amazing on Angelina.

Again, I wish she had worn some form of green stone jewelry, but I won’t complain about her pretty cabled hoop earrings and bracelets by David Yurman.

Last year Angelina Jolie blew me away when she attended the NY premiere of “The Tourist” wearing an ivory knit long-sleeve gown from Atelier Versace. For the last year I’ve been waiting for her to “wow me” like she did then. I feel like, with the exception of a few appearances, I’ve mostly seen her in basic black dresses all year.

Last night was no different as the 36-year-old actress joined Brat Pitt (in Tom Ford) at the NYC premiere of her film “In The Land of Blood and Honey” held at the New York School of Visual Arts.

She hit the red carpet in a black satin pleated maxi skirt by Ralph Lauren Collection that featured a tucked waist with a Joseph billowing blouse and split sleeves that cascaded into an almost ruffle effect. | continue reading..

Angelina Jolie joined Brad Pitt in Tokyo, Japan yesterday for the premiere of his film “Moneyball” wearing a red cocktail dress by Atelier Versace.

I’m not surprised to know this is Versace, but I also can’t deny the fact that this is such a boring look. I see women run errands in the summer in dresses like this with a little cardigan thrown over it.

I know this isn’t her premiere — she’s just there for support — but I mean…dress up a little bit more than this.

It probably wouldn’t have been so bad if she wore interesting shoes, but she didn’t. Nude pumps, red lipstick, and flat hair were the only additional pieces she brought to the table.

On another note…what’s up with Brad’s hair? It’s probably for another role, but the 90′s called… just sayin’.
