Bella Heathcote in Emilio Pucci | Australians In Film Awards & Benefit Dinner

“Dark Shadows” star Bella Heathcote hit the red carpet last Tuesday night for the Australians In Film Awards & Benefit Dinner, which was held at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California.

The 24-year-old Melbourne-born actress arrived wearing a black jumpsuit from the Fall 2012 collection by Emilio Pucci that featured an elastic drop-waist, a thin keyhole opening at the bust and a thick sequined halterneck collar.

While I think the jumpsuit is cool, I feel like Bella let it down by not wearing a belt. Even if she didn’t wear the same sequined wide belt that Anja Rubik did on the runway, she still needed something.

The visible seam and droopy waist does nothing for her. It was also a bummer that the pants weren’t brought up an inch to show off her shoes. She completed her look with a sleek up ‘do, a black satin clutch, diamond jewelry and a dark berry pout.

Bella posed on the red carpet with Anna McGahan, an AIF honoree and the Heath Ledger Scholarship recipient.

FYI: Anna wore Alexandre Birman couture peep toe pumps.

Anja Rubik in Elie Saab | “Cosmopolis” Premiere – 2012 Cannes Film Festival

Anja Rubik attended the premiere of “Cosmopolis” during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival, held at Palais des Festivals last night, wearing a dark and dramatic Elie Saab gown.

The 28-year-old model selected this black, long-sleeve netted gown, with sequin embroidery on the bodice and a full length black silk-chiffon skirt from the Fall 2012 collection.

As another favorite of mine from the collection, I was disappointed to see that Anja left out the belt and you could clearly see her g-string underwear through the skirt. I don’t understand why she couldn’t just wear a boy-shot or briefs that are so often used with dresses like this.

Anja wore her hair up and doused her lips in dark red before finishing off her look with black sandals and Chopard ruby and white diamond hoop earrings with a matching ruby ring.

Lea Seydoux returned to the red carpet in another outstanding look when she attended the “L’Enfant d’en Haut” premiere held during the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival on Monday night.

The 26-year-old actress selected a long-sleeved black gown — with multiple stripes of lace insets — from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Elie Saab that she looked simply flawless in. I personally think she wore this better than model Anja Rubik on the runway — which is major. | continue reading..

2011 was a huge year of wedding bliss! Among the many stars and royals celebrating their nuptials were Reese Witherspoon, Kate Moss, Kim Kardashian, Lily Aldridge, Miranda Lambert, Lily Allen, Anja Rubik, Abbey Clancy, Sofia Coppolla, Molly Sims, Charlene Wittstock, Princess Sophie of Isenburg, and of course Kate Middleton.

It was tough to narrow it down, but I think we could all agree that Kate Middleton‘s custom designed Alexander McQueen gown by Sarah Burton was a clear winner. Millions stayed up at bizarre hours just to watch the royal nuptials between the now Duchess of Cambrige and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. | continue reading..
