Salma Hayek’s European “Puss In Boots” Style Tour

You thought the promotional tour for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ was hectic, but they could really go toe-to-toe with Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas (not pictured) who have been promoting their film “Puss In Boots” nearly non-stop for over two months.

Hitting fourteen cities in the US and Europe since September; Salma and Antonio have brought DreamWorks spin-off of the “Shrek” series everywhere from Moscow to Los Angeles. Salma has had a fashion whirlwind and for every hit, there was definitely a miss. After a minor break she joined her co-star to finish their promo tour earlier this month. First stop? Mexico City.

On November 15th, Salma had attended the photocall in Mexico earlier wearing a beautiful blue dress by Bottega Veneta, but somehow went more conservative for the evening premiere. Salma hit the red carpet at the Cinemex Antara Polanco wearing a black blazer and gold lamé tee from the Resort 2012 collection by Gucci that she paired with a Spring/Summer 2012 flared pencil skirt by Yves Saint Laurent.

The obvious texture differences between the jacket and skirt were the first things to throw off the look for me. The second being the oddly layered black beaded necklace. Between the necklace, shiny top and feathered hair –  it’s wonder she’s not going to a disco.

For me, the only thing really working was her gold and black suede platform peep toe sandals with a chain t-strap from Gucci‘s Spring/Summer 2012 line.

The very next day Salma was in Buenos Aires, Argentina for the next photocall and premiere. She donned a black suit with a pink halter top early in the day before changing into a white Giambattista Valli belted silk dress for the premiere at the Village Recoleta cinema. | continue reading..

Salma Hayek has been promoting the animated family movie “Puss In Boots” with Antonio Banderas (not pictured) all over the world for the last two months, and this week they took to Mexico!

Salma arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City with her co-star on Tuesday for a photocall and press conference.

She looked beautiful in an eye-catching cobalt blue, white, and black silk-chiffon dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Bottega Veneta.

This is the second time Salma has worn a dress from the collection for this press tour. She wore a similar chocolate version to the LA premiere last month.

I love this color on her, the gathered details of the design, and how it hugs Salma’s curvy figure. | continue reading..

Salma Hayek is the first lady I’ve seen wearing a dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 Elie Saab collection, and all I see are photos of her sitting down.

It’s kinda-sorta-definitely fashionably depressing.

Salma wore a beautiful violet crewneck sleeveless dress with double band waist detail and a semi-pleated skirt for an appearance at Young Hollywood studio this past weekend with Antonio Banderas to promote “Puss In Boots”.

While I can’t get a good view, I can already tell that this was a good look for Salma. The color is gorgeous, but sadly Salma is still having this “hair flip moment” that’s killing it for me.

Her gold bracelet is by Gucci.

Salma Hayek joined her co-star Antonio Banderas today in Los Angeles for the premiere of their film “Puss In Boots” wearing a beautiful Bottega Veneta chiffon one shoulder dress.

Her dress reminds me of Rocky Road ice cream! I’m in love with the several shades of chocolate mixed with the black the white details. The one shoulder silhouette is darn-near perfect as it shows off her curves without any added width, which some dresses can do to women who are large at the chest but have a tiny waist. | continue reading..
