MY VERDICT: We’ve seen countless celebrities embrace and promote the midriff trend on the red carpet over the last year, but no one does it quite like Selena Gomez.  The 20-year-old actress attended the SXSW premiere of “Spring Breakers” and showed off her trim figure in a Dolce & Gabbana tropical floral bustier crop top with pale blue cup accents and a matching high-waist orange pencil skirt, both from the Spring 2013 collection.  Sel wore her long brunette locks pulled to the side in full cascading waves and brightened up her pout with a neon coral lip color.

MY VERDICT: After rocking cool stripes the previous night, Olivia was back for another round of SXSW festivities when she joined Anna Kendrick at the premiere of their new film “Drinking Buddies”.  Olivia played with color this time around thanks to a funky Resort 2013 raspberry pink and black contrast collared dress by L’Wren Scott that she amplified with bright green sandals.  She’s wearing the “Cachet” slingback by Sergio Rossi.

MY VERDICT: Anna looked adorably stylish on the SXSW red carpet when she attended the premiere of “Drinking Buddies” wearing a cool head-to-toe ensemble by Marissa Webb.  The 27-year-old actress showed a little leg in the “Juliana” Italian mélange tweed cropped jacket and matching shorts from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection, which includes a fun pop of color with green lame leather trim detailing.  Emerald has been named the shade of the year, so needless to say Anna is right on trend.  I think wearing the white contrast “Willa” pointy toe heels like the model would have been a bit over-done, and the weather was too warm for many layers, therefore I’m glad Anna went sans blouse and opted for the solid black version of Webb’s shoes. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Michelle brightened up in Austin, Texas when she attended the SXSW premiere of “Gus” wearing a vivid citrus crepe sleeveless sheath dress by Roksanda Ilincic.   The brunette actress selected the solid design from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection, which features an angled ivory inset at the waist.  Michelle properly highlighted the bi-color style of her dress with matching nude blade pumps by Casadei that are piped in cool orange.  A wood pattern clutch completed her look. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Olivia tried out one of the spring’s hottest trends when she took to the red carpet for the SXSW 2013 premiere of “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone”.  The 29-year-old rocked bold black and white stripes with this textured midi dress by Dolce & Gabbana.  We recently saw Zoe Saldana test the pattern out in green at the Indie Spirit Awards last month, but I have to say that I’m partial to the thick strap light silhouette that Olivia selected. | continue reading..

As the Florence + the Machine tour moves along, lead singer Florence Welch continues to grace us with one beautiful Gucci look after another. But, you won’t hear me complaining about that.

On Friday, the English alternative band performs at during Day 1 of the 2012 Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas where Flo hit the stage to belt out some hits wearing, yet another, customized version of her favorite Fall/Winter 2012 gown.

Florence wore the ruffle trim long-sleeve silk georgette dress, but with the gorgeous jade green and black floral pattern that was used for a halterneck design during the runway presentation.

She kept the velvet belt, unlike before, and I like that the neckline opening is closed.

What a way to bring a touch of glamour to an outdoor concert festival!

As usual, I loved this on her — especially with her “Heidi braid” hairstyle; a trend that is kind of growing on me.

Demi Lovato took to Austin, Texas to begin auditions for the second season of “The X Factor” with her co-judges, which included Britney Spears, at the Frank Erin Center on Thursday.

The 19-year-old “Give Your Heart A Break” singer wore head-to-toe threads from Topshop, including a citrus lime a-line “Pacific” printed dress with black zipper closure at the bust.
