MY VERDICT: Eliza flaunted her curves when she hit the black carpet for the annual CW Network Upfront presentation to celebrate the line-up for the Fall-Winter television season. The Australian beauty, who will be starring on the new drama “The Hundred”, wore a tomato-red form fitting crepe cocktail dress by Narciso Rodriguez. The color looked amazing against Eliza’s skin and cascading golden curls; although it was a classic silhouette without any frills, it perfectly suited Eliza for the daytime event.

MY VERDICT: It appears as though Jenna Ushkowitz wasn’t the only star on the SAGs red carpet that turned to Australian designer Alex Perry for their gown for the big night. Ariel Winter from ABC’s hit series “Modern Family” stepped out at the Shrine Auditorium wearing a nude “Illiana” gown from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection, which features tulle sleeves, and pink and green sequin embellishments along the bodice that were shaped as flower appliqués. The design is sweet, and I’m glad the 15-year-old kept her makeup and accessories pretty low-key. However,  I think that gathering those waves into a ponytail would have put more focus on the detail of the dress.

After rocking a cool jumpsuit on the red carpet recently, Carrie Underwood returned to showing off her famous toned gams last night in this pretty citrus mini at the 2012 American Country Awards in Las Vegas!

The 29-year-old Country singer arrived at the Mandalay Bay Events Center wearing a Georges Chakra peach lace bubble dress from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2012 Couture collection, which featured a strappy open back, swinging lines of pearl fringe and beautiful intricate patterned detail at the center of the neck and banded hem. | continue reading..

Before her new movie “Pitch Perfect” opens in theaters this weekend, Anna Kendrick made a stop at the Ed Sullivan Theater on Thursday night to promote the musical comedy on the “Late Show with David Letterman”.

The 26-year-old actress braved the humid New York City weather wearing a single-shoulder draped canary yellow cocktail dress by Halston Heritage. I just love the bright and happy shade; it was perfect for the transition into fall.

Last night the stars from film, music and the catwalk hit the red carpet at the Royal Opera House for the 2012 GQ Men of the Year Awards to celebrate some of the finest men of the last year. Among the honorees were Dolce & Gabbana‘s Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for Designer of the Year, Aaron Sorkin for Writer of the Year, Tinie Tempah for Solo Artist of the Year, and of course, the Team Great Britain Olympians!

The Fashion Court caught you up with some of the hottest dresses from your favorite stars on the blue carpet for the 2012 Do Something Awards, hosted by DoSomething.Org and VH1 in Hollywood. But, there were a few other note-worthy looks that I didn’t want to go unnoticed.

Let’s break them down here, shall we?

Ellie Kemper looked so cute when she arrived for the awards ceremony in this printed a-line party dress. The “21 Jump Street” actress selected a gold metallic cocktail dress  by Rafael Cennamo, from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection, which featured navy blue detailing, especially at the banded waist. Ellie wore her red hair in loosely sculpted waves before finishing off her look with a red pout and sassy navy strappy sandals.

Bella Thorne‘s hair just keeps getting lighter and lighter! I’ve always been a fan of the rich red hair on  the “Shake It Up” starlet, but this pale shade is a bit lackluster against her fair complexion. It doesn’t help that her nude lace BCBGMAXAZRIA dress does nothing to add some lively color to her overall ensemble. She’s only fourteen though, so Bella totally gets away with playing with her party frock by updating it with a jewel-embellished belt and spike-embellished python printed ankle booties. | continue reading..

Hayden Panettiere sparkled on the fuchsia carpet last night for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards in a dazzling Zuhair Murad dress.

The “Nashville” actress arrived at the Gibson Amphitheatre in a cap-sleeve mini dress from the Resort 2012 collection, which was completely embellished with purple beading and featured an open back with a ruffled hem.

Hayden looked beautiful and instantly became one of my favorites of the night. The fitted design was perfect for lengthening her petite figure and she complimented it well with matching, but not overtly so, accessories. | continue reading..
