Jamie Dornan in Neil Barrett | “Fifty Shades of Grey” Premiere – 2015 Berlinale International Film Festival

Jamie Dornan in Neil Barrett | 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Premiere - 2015 Berlinale International Film FestivalJamie was joined on red the carpet by his wife Amelia Warner.
WHO: Jamie Dornan
WHERE & WHEN: 65th Berlinale International Film Festival Premiere of “Fifty Shades of Grey” on February 11, 2015.
WEARING: Neil Barrett

MY VERDICT: Jamie looked extremely dashing as he arrived on the red carpet for the world premiere of “Fifty Shades of Grey”, held during the Berlinale International Film Festival Special Gala in Berlin, Germany. The 32-year-old Northern Irish actor selected a black tuxedo from Neil Barrett with a white dress shirt that he added pops of color to with a sapphire bow-tie and satin pocket square. I absolutely love the styling of this; the shade of blue is beautiful and added a striking touch to an otherwise classic tux.

I also like the way Jamie coordinated with his wife Amelia Warner’s accessories. Amelia wore a bright coral Temperley London “Coco” lace v-neck jumpsuit that she livened up with a blue minaudière and matching sandals. The couple made a stylish pair.

Shiny black oxfords completed Jamie’s premiere look.

Sam Taylor-Johnson in Stella McCartney | “Fifty Shades of Grey” Premiere – 2015 Berlinale International Film Festival

Sam Taylor-Johnson in Stella McCartney | 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Premiere - 2015 Berlinale International Film FestivalSam was joined on the red carpet by her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
WHO: Sam Taylor-Johnson
WHERE & WHEN: 65th Berlinale International Film Festival Premiere of “Fifty Shades of Grey” on February 11, 2015.
WEARING: Stella McCartney

MY VERDICT: Sam stepped out onto the red carpet at Zoo Palast in style to celebrate the Berlinale 2015 Special Gala premiere of “Fifty Shades of Grey”, held in Berlin, Germany. The English director, who was joined by her husband, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, wore a long sleeve Stella McCartney white gown with a sultry open back.

I’m a sucker for sleeved dresses, but the peekaboo cut-out really made this one a winner. An ornate statement necklace would be a nice touch as well, but I liked Sam’s layering of delicate gold chains.

While soft makeup, cascading waves and black lacquered nails provided the beauty touches, Sam completed her look with tiny stud earrings, gold rings, and a pair of black pumps.

Dane DeHaan in Prada | “Life” Premiere – 2015 Berlinale International Film Festival

Dane DeHaan in Prada | 'Life' Premiere - 2015 Berlinale International Film FestivalDane was joined on the red carpet by his wife Anna Wood.
WHO: Dane DeHaan
WHERE & WHEN: 65th Berlinale International Film Festival Premiere of “Life” on February 9, 2015.
WEARING: Head-to-toe Prada.

MY VERDICT: Dane hit the red carpet for the world premiere of his film “Life” where he was joined by his costars Robert Pattinson, Alessandra Mastronardi, and his wife, actress Anna Wood. The 29-year-old actor wore head-to-toe Prada, naturally. You may remember that he starred in the Spring/Summer 2014 ad campaign for the Italian luxury fashion house.

As for his premiere look, Dane wore a navy kid mohair two button suit partnered with a bright sky blue oxford shirt that was adorned with a coordinating navy satin bow tie. I really liked this look on him, and it complemented his complexion and light blue eyes so well. A shiny pair of black spazzolato boots provided the finishing touch.

Anna wore Prada as well, a beautiful black satin froissé and silk sable v-neck gown with a pair of silver vernice heels.

Robert Pattinson in Gucci | “Life” Premiere – 2015 Berlinale International Film Festival

Robert Pattinson in Gucci | 'Life' Premiere - 2015 Berlinale International Film FestivalRobert was joined by his LIFE costar Dan DeHaan on the Berlinale red carpet.
WHO: Robert Pattinson
WHERE & WHEN: 65th Berlinale International Film Festival Premiere of “Life” on February 9, 2015.
WEARING: Head-to-toe Gucci.

MY VERDICT: Following a late afternoon press conference, Robert joined his costars Dane DeHaan and Alessandra Mastronardi to celebrate the world premiere of “Life”, held at the Berlinale Film Festival in Berlin, Germany. The 28-year-old handsome actor stayed warm–and looked sharp, in head-to-toe Gucci. Rob wore a dark grey “Signoria” wool coat with velvet lapel detail over a double-breasted grey jacket and black trousers that were partnered with a white dress shirt and a claret tie.

Interestingly, Berlinale 2012 is one of the only two other times I remember him wearing a coat for a red carpet premiere.

The mix of colors with his suiting is an unexpected choice from Rob, but one I like. I always enjoy seeing him embrace rich shades, in fact, I encourage it. Even a small pop of color with a tie or a pocket square can go a long way. The touch of red reminds me of the iconic LIFE Magazine logo, which makes me think his suit was inspired by the connection to the film.

Rob polished off his debonair premiere look with a cool pair of black leather lace ups featuring gold chain detail at the toe. The modern edge was a nice way to balance out a distinguished ‘old Hollywood’ ensemble.
