MY VERDICT: Despite a plethora of glamorous and unique gowns at the MET gala, one of my favorite looks this week popped up on Katie Aselton at a Hollywood screening for “Black Rock”. The 34-year-old actress not only stars in the thriller alongside Kate Bosworth and Lake Bell–she directed it as well.

MY VERDICT: After donning a shocking pink mini at the MET ball earlier in the week, Kate opted for a more subdued shade at the special Hollywood screening of her new movie “Black Rock”. The 30-year-old actress arrived at the ArcLight Hollywood theater wearing a Miu Miu ivory and slate blue godet skirted dress, which featured an exquisite pearl and crystal embroidered sleeveless bodice. The intense flounce skirt both flattered and lengthened Kate’s lithe shape, which is refreshing since this style has the tendency to truncate or add unnecessary width to teh body.

With a sleek low ponytail and a pop of punchy red on her pout, Kate finished off the look with a pair of silver leather décolleté pumps and a python clutch–both from Prada.

I may have let out a slight squeal on Sunday night when I saw Kate Bosworth arrive at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party wearing the gorgeous black long-sleeve tulle gown with glorious crystal beaded embellishments from the Fall 2012 collection by Prabal Gurung.

This was one of my absolutely favorite pieces from his collection, and I was awaiting the moment it would make it’s red carpet debut. While this wasn’t exactly the ‘red’ carpet — it was a major moment for the dress!

Kate looked great in the design and, thankfully, didn’t put a damper on it with the wrong shoes. She kept things sleek with the classic “Pigalle” patent pumps by Christian Louboutin. | continue reading..

It was a full Valentino look for Kate Bosworth as she attended the Creative Coalition’s Annual Spotlight Initiative Awards  held during the 2012 Sundance Film Festival last night.
