MY VERDICT: After showing off a sexier side at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month, Selena kept it a bit more PG when she attended the first annual Radio Disney Music Awards in a black and white printed draped Blumarine mini skirt, from the Fall 2013 collection, with pops of pink and orange.

MY VERDICT: Selena added a burst of tropical color to her morning look when she attended the early photocall for “Spring Breakers” in Spain.  The 20-year-old baby-faced actress wore a split long-sleeve combo dress from the Spring 2013 collection by Blumarine, an off-runway design featuring a fluorescent lemongrass silk bodice with a keyhole center opening and scattered floral patterns in black and white.  The upper print complimented the white pencil skirt that was double bordered at the high-waist in black. We’re a long way off from Spring Break, but the ladies of the upcoming film “Spring Breakers” hit the 2012 Venice International Film Festival to promote it together — and looked pretty fabulous doing so.

Vanessa Hudgens was quite ladylike in her white strapless tea-length dress by Blumarine that was completely embroidered with a black leaf lace motif. Julianne Hough joined director Adam Shankman as the two attended a special New York screening for their new movie “Rock of Ages” on Wednesday, where Julianne donned a sassy little black dress and super bright shoes.

The 23-year-old actress arrived at the Sunshine Landmark in this sleeveless, knee length black dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Blumarine. It’s actually one of the few un-embellished pieces in the entire collection.

Katy Perry wasn’t rolling solo tonight at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, she had her beloved Grandmother as her date!

The 27-year-old “Part of Me” singer arrived at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Neveda wearing a pink ice metallic drop waist gown from the Fall 2012 collection by Blumarine. The entire bodice was covered in iridescent sequin paillettes and pyramid studs before falling into a silk-chiffon maxi skirt.

There’s also a large cutout element in the back of her dress.

What can I say? This definitely suited her and it was a nice fit on her.

I think Katy opted for this candy hue to compliment her black and violet ombré tresses, which she had styled in bouncy curls that fell over her shoulder. | continue reading..

Katy Perry partied the night away with friends at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party on Sunday night where she was donned in a sequin patterned metallic short sleeve gown by Blumarine.

The “Part Of Me” singer styled her blue bob hair to the side; it seemed like she added a bit of an extension as her hair had a bit of an asymmetric look going on.

Katy continued with the blue hue by lining her eyes with kohl liner and bold lashes before framing them in a sky blue shadow.

She completed the ensemble with Miu Miu heels, diamond jewels and a Judith Leiber bag.

I was surprised to see that metallic gowns were not that popular tonight, but fortunately they weren’t ignored either.

Christina Hendricks was one of the girl actresses to hit the carpet. The “Mad Men” star showcased her curvacious body in a custom design by Australian designer Johanna Johnson shimmering gown that featured a long train and very high center slit.

I made an audible growl when I saw that “Modern Family” star Julie Bowen had her hair in a low ponytail. She was wearing a fabulous silver lamé deep v-neck maco bead embroidered gown by Oscar de la Renta that was just begging for some red carpet bouncing luxurious curls. When you’re in such a sleek gown, don’t be afraid to add some volume to that hair! I wish I could have frozen time and ran to Los Angeles, pulled her hair loose and then ran back home to my computer to re-write this.

Anna Faris knows what’s up, she wore a deco metallic strapless gown from Reem Acra‘s spring 2011 ready-to-wear collection and left her goldie locks free flowing. I loved that she wore this dress, once the fall collections and then the resort looks come out, it’s very rare I get to see a spring dress from the current year this late in the game. Anna left out the belt that was paired with the dress for the presentation but I believe that was a wise choice.

Rachael Taylor, one of the stars from ABC’s “Charlie’s Angels” was another favorite of mine last night. I’m not a huge fan of pink but I thought she looked beautiful in this pale pink metallic placket strapless column Giorgio Armani dress. The Australian actress kept accessories simple but I really love her new sleek bob hair cut, it made her look seem somewhat effortlessly glam. | continue reading..
