Like many stars last night, Brandy turned to gold when selecting her perfect dress to wear to the 40th anniversary of the American Music Awards last night in Hollywood.

The “Put It Down” singer, who presented during the ceremony, stepped out on the black carpet to pose in the press room following her appearance on the show while donned in a short black viscose dress by Ekaterina Kukharvea, which featured a gathered gold neckline and matching sleeves along with a pleated asymmetric one-shoulder sash overlay—which was completely embellished with macramé.

With her long jet-black waves gathered into a faux bob hairstyle, Brandy finished off her AMA look with coordinating diamond-encrusted bangles, a talon-shaped sheer manicure and fierce embellished black and gold ankle boots.

The 33-year-old singer flaunted her curves in a Spring 2012 fringed mauve mini dress from Herve Leger by Max Azria with metallic bridge elements and a plunging neckline.

Brandy complimented the mirrored effects in her dress with multiple moonstone rings, bangles and rosegold long chain earrings. Brandy also accessorized with a metallic leopard box minaudière and super hot gold metallic “Lady Peep” slingback platform sandals by Christian Louboutin.
