2011 Style Verdicts: Best Dressed Ensemble – The Cast of “Breaking Dawn”

2011 Style Verdicts: Best Dressed Ensemble - The Cast of "Breaking Dawn"It was a big year for movies, especially two mega franchises — “Harry Potter” and “Twilight”. While the wizards concluded their story during the summer, it was the vampires who took over in the fall in the most stylish way. The cast of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ hit the promotional trail in late October heavily to promote the first installment of the finale to the blockbuster hit clad in designer looks by major fashion houses such as Gucci, Givenchy, J. Mendel, Donna Karan, Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana.

While some stars stayed consistently stylish, some had a rocky road, and others really came into their own. Here are some of my favorite looks Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the vampy gang globally rocked.

These were my favorite looks from both Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed during the tour. The avant-garde black and white cutaway Donna Karan design that Ashley donned at the NYC premiere of the film was so interesting. Every angle showed off the dress in a different light — and they were all good. Nikki echoed her choice of a vibrant cutout look with an acid green halter gown by Michael Kors that was trimmed in black and cutaway at both sides of her stomach.

Both ladies accessorized brilliantly, but it was Nikki who had me boiling with a major case of ‘shoe envy’ over her caged platform Giuseppe Zanotti boots. | continue reading..

So, basically … Jamie Bell looked kinda, sorta amazing at the premiere of “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn” in Brussels, Belgium on Saturday.

Jamie was all smiles when he arrived at the UGC cinema at the Brouckere Square with Steven Spielberg (not pictured) to celebrate the release of the film. He wore a grey glen plaid two button notch lapel suit, a perla stretch popeline shirt, and a fumo silk knit tie with black spazzolato lace-up shoes from the Fall/Winter 2011 Menswear collection by Prada.

I thought he looked quite dashing; the color looked great on him and the fit was was just right.

Are you going to see “The Adventures of Tintin” 2?

Ashley Greene looked amazing when she arrived at the Square Brussels Meeting Centre for the special fan event celebrating “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ tonight in Brussels, Belgium where she and co-star Robert Pattinson answered questions about the film for a theater full of fans.

The 24-year-old signed autographs outside in a rose-colored wool double breasted L’Wren Scott Fall/Winter 2011 coat (not pictured), but soon revealed a stunning beaded dusty pale pink cocktail dress underneath. Her form-fitting, plunging neckline mini with metallic gold paillette embroidered roses was from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection also by L’Wren Scott. | continue reading..

Ashley Greene and Robert Pattinson were up bright and early this morning in Brussels, Belgium for a press conference and photocall to promote the next installment of the “Twilight” saga, “Breaking Dawn: Part 1″.

While Ashley wore a lovely navy blue textured cotton dress by Peter Som with a full skirt silhouette, Robert opted to go completely casual in cotton pants, a buffalo plaid shirt and Levi’s jacket.

Ashley’s Som dress is available in a chili color at Saks Fifth Avenue, but I prefer the navy blue version she wore for this morning that matched her blue earrings.

I don’t really have a problem with Rob’s outfit in general, but because it’s so wrinkled, I’m not into it for the event. He should have worn a crisp shirt for photos and then added the jacket back during the Q&A.

Truthfully, I love the fact that he doesn’t try so hard. He’ll be in a suit later today for the fan event, I’m sure.

You can’t see them in the provided photo, but Ashley wore black “Cachet” pumps by Sergio Rossi.
